2nd 1/2 week post op and feeling hungry

I had to go to Dr. Fieldings office yesterday because I am very hungry and can eat anything. He gave 2 1/2 cc fill for the first time even though i needed to wait until my 4th week and I STILL FEEL hungry and can eat things easily.

=( is this whats going to happen?I am so scare that this doesnt work for me.

You are in what is affectionatley known as bandster hell. The time after surgery, before the fills give you restriction.

I too was afraid the band was never going to work. It took 3 fills for me to feel some restriction. Hang in there, it will happen.

In the meantime, I suggest focusing on eating the right foods (high protein, low carb, low fat yada yada) even if the portions are bigger then they will be once you have restriction.
