Good luck to you!! You'll do fine. Getting a fill doesn't hurt..

Follow your doctor's orders after your fill. Liquids... then mushies again.. you know the drill..

lol yeah. I was more worried about him seeing my tummy than anything else, thanks for the support!

I get my first fill tomorrow too. I'm so excited. Scale hasn't moved for more than 2 weeks so I'm ready for it. Also a little nervous but we can do this!!!!! Write back tomorrow and let us know how it goes.

Me 3 first fill tomorrow at 10am. A little nervous.

Wow! All three of you getting a fill today!! Good luck to everyone. Come back and post your experience!

I'm all done. Took about 5 minutes and not much pain (just a pinch). I definately feel restrictionnow (6CC of 10CC band). I used to be able to gulp water, now sipping even causes some minor discomfort. Doc said this would go away in a few days. 2 days liquid diet, then back to mushies for 2 days :tongue2:.

Hi all - I'm back from my first fill also and that was easy peezy! Definitely feel tighter. Drinking water is a challenge - I am definitely sipping slowly. I'm also on liquids for two days then mushies. He only put in 2.4 ccs. He tried to put in a little more but it was definitely way too tight - I could feel that barium sitting in my throat. yuck! So, I think I'm about at the right fill now. Hopefully the weight will start flying off! :tongue2: A girl can dream, right?!

Thank you all for coming back to post!! Yeah... you are all on your way. I see my doc tomorrow. Had my first fill last week.. but only 1cc... haven't lost anything in two weeks (very frustrating). Glad it all went well for you.

I'm not gonna lie, I finally drank some water and it had no problems going down. I feel like I'm starving. I had a popsicle and some broth and that kept me at bay for a few hours, but here I am again, tummy growling up a storm. Not sure what else to try, I'm def not going off the docts orders, but man, some mashed potatoes sound amazing.

I had my first fill on 6/1 and it took me 3 days to be able to handle food! I thought I was going to lose my mind! Good luck, listen to your body, and you will all be great!

I just had my first fill today. I now have 4.75cc(?) saline in my band. The fill didn't hurt at all, really. I wasn't numbed and only felt the small prick of the needle. It was weird to feel a sudden tightening once the saline went in.

Anyways, I had some gas at first when I was drinking some Water, but just had some watered down cream of chicken Soup with no problems. Not feeling very hungry at all which is a good thing.

Anyways, so far so good. Hope everything works out for everyone! :tongue2:

Thanks for your post, I'm going to try watered down cream of chicken, very watered down.

I'm with you guys on the hunger front. My tummy is definitely growling up a storm. I had a little Water and some creamy soup and it was delicious but, i'm trying to take it easy. We can do it. Just two days then we get more mashed potatoes again! :tongue2:

BTW, how far are you guys out from your surgery. I was banded on 4/29. This thursday will be my 6th week which means its time to start hitting the gym. Have you started working out yet and if so, how's it going?
