First Fill Tomorrow

I get my first fill tomorrow and I'm hoping you guys can help clarify something for me. Is my goal to take a small bite, chew well, and wait for it to go through the band before I take another bite?

If not, then why wait so long between bites? I'm willing to do it, I just don't understand why.

Thanks!

I was told my pouch will hold 4-5 oz of food. the purpose of eating slow is to give our stomach a chance to tell our brain that the pouch is full. the worst thing we can do is over eat. Again, this is what I was told. I am not there yet so I have no experience. You should check with your Dr to confirm.
