Sleepy

I work 2 nights a week at work, I am there till like 3 in the morning .. I am so tired I could almost fall asleep, I take a nap before work and still have this problem. I used to turn to soda before my surgery to get over this hump no I do not know what to do to get a little caffeine boost don't really care for tea or coffee any ideas?

If you go long enough without the caffeine, you probably wouldn't "need" it anymore, but that's soooo hard!

Maybe a 5 Hour Energy shot or something would help? Good luck!

I would bet your carb intake is much lower now so your body is not storing that energy. Your body should adjust but you might want to look at your carb count each day and maybe try having a protien shake with a few extra carbs. Although I really dont think this is the best answer, those energy drinks are loaded with sugars worse than the carbs you get from a protein shake. My suggestion should be taken up with your Dr or nutricionist first because I am not a proffesional. Good luck and let us know what they say!

I like Rockstar Zero!! I wouldn't drink the whole thing though, it will keep you awake when you want to sleep too!!!

Learn to drink coffee. Iced coffee with splenda is good. Coffee can be an acquired taste. There are many low calorie coffee drinks available now too. Just watch the calories on them. Best wishes!!!
