I think you'll know when you are up to it. It took me about 2 weeks to recover from the surgery which i think is a long time compared to most. Then you just have to deal with the port pain for a few more weeks. Id say 3 weeks and i was in good condition again.

Everyones different though and i think you'll know when you are feeling up to it.

How long after or "for how long after"....? I'm 5 days post and shouldhave you an answer by morning.

My surgeon wants me back in the gym two days after surgery... but 6 weeks for sexual activity. Everybody is different, just do not over due it... regardless of how you are getting your exercise.

I actually resumed ummm 'bedroom activity' 3 days post op and everything was fine. Hope it isn't TMI, but being on top for the next couple of weeks is definitely a good idea

As long as your feeling better its ok. I did the day after surgery. I was over night at the hospital, just hadda be careful my surgeon said no birth control for 3 weeks following surgery because of the high blood clot risk. Be sure to use CONDOMS!
