Im doing good I still have the gas in my left shoulder and my incisions hurt a little. Im on clear liquids as well until tomorrow the protein drink is clear very expensive though. Keep me updated on your progress, do you know how to get your ticker to show up on your posts once you create it?

I was banded 5/4 and it has been a bit of a struggle. I had a lot of bloating and gas that was quite painful. It finally started to break up but it was rough going for a moment. I also find that I am quite emotional. Is anyone else experiencing this? I finally got out the house today and got a mani/pedi and that made me feel better. The spa chair really helped as well. The massaging to my lower back was like a godsend..LOL I did have a lot of shoulder and back pain as well but luckily I have had some wonderful support from my husband and mom. I did not have any appetite at first but today I did get down some egg drop soup. Not drinking as many fluids but I am working on that as well. Looking forward to the journey.

Hi new banded buddies I had my lap band on 3/9/10 I did great . All I can say is walk walk walk th e only pain I had was the gas. Gas X works wonders.

End of Day 1 of Post Op. I feel like I've cheated the fates. Almost zero pain at all, except when I lie down on my side. I have both anti-inflammatory as well as straight codeine, but haven't touched the codeine. Zero pain at the port site. Taking my regular stack of pills caused a 10 minute hiccup fest, but if that's the worst side effect I get, I'll be thrilled. I've had a quart of Powerade Zero, Water, and chicken broth, with no sign of the puke factor.

Still, I want a Ritz cracker so badly right now.
