bloating

Hello everybody, does anybody know when bloating subsides after surgery and does it effect weight? Have been on liquids for 5 days and haven't lost an ounce. thanks for any feedback.

    You've been hooked up to IV's and pumped full of fluids so it will take several days for it all to pass thru your body. It will definately show up on the scale so do yourself a favor and stay away from the scale for a while...lol

    I am 6 weeks out and still have bloating sometimes. It may be something we have to deal with. Sorry
