Which is better???

Which is better?

1) Buying new clothes in a smaller size OR

2) Fitting into an old piece of clothing that was ONCE too small

I personally think that although new clothing is always a good thing, I would rather pull something out of my closet that I've had for years but couldn't wear anymore b/c it was too small and have it fit.

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION?

Its been great wearing clothing out of my closet that Ive never been able to wear or wear comfortably in years...I refuse to buy clothing until I drop at least 1 or 2 full sized. Ive been having fun just feeling and looking better in the clothing that I already have in my closet.

Closet shopping is so much fun! It's free, too. LOL. I still have several really nice suits I can't fit into yet. They were expensive back in the day when I bought them, and I'd love to fit into them again.

I'm not ready to buy new clothes yet. I have a lot more weight I need to lose. I want to wait until I get closer to goal, so buying "in between" clothes seems like a waste to me. That being said, I hate wearing baggy jeans!!! It feels and looks terrible.

Thrift stores or consignment shops i think are a good alternative for the "transition" clothes....especially jeans. there are more and more places popping up that only deal in name brand clothing.
