Scared!!!

Hi everyone my name is Heather and I am 26 years old, I am considering the lapband due to my weight has increased to 280 pounds. I have an amazing husband who is in the army and a beautiful daughter that I want to be around for! I go to the orientation class next week and am scared. I have questions such as "Have I done everything on my own to lose the weight?" "How will this affect my family?" "Willit hurt?" I was hoping to get some input from others to see how they felt as they atarted going through the process and would you do it again? Thank you and God Bless.

Hi Heather:

No need to be scared, just make sure you do your homework and remember this is something that will change your life and it is a tool to help you! I wish this had been around before I got pregnant with my daughters, but I did it now and I am really glad that I did this!

Take Care and good luck

Sandee

I was scared.. I still am scared and I am getting banded on 5/17 but I have done my research and I know this is the best thing for me and my future!

Ask all the questions you need to your dr and on these boards, do your research and make the best choice for you and your family!
