Hello! I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself! I had my pre-op appointment yesterday, I start my 10 day liquid diet tomorrow and surgery is scheduled for Friday April 30, 2010 at 9am! I am very excited and truly blessed to start this new journey! It is very nice to be here!

Hi Leslie! Greetings from about 50 miles north of you! Welcome to this forum. It is a great place for making connections with others on this journey. I am finishing up my 6-month doctor supervised diet next week, and I hope to have surgery on May 17th. Who is your doctor, and where are you going for your procedure?

Hello! Thank you so much for replying! I actually grew up 50 miles from where I am now! My mom still lives in Chesterfield, MO and I grew up in the St. Louis area! My surgeon is Dr. Gregg Ginsgerg from Festus, MO so I am going to have my surgery at Jefferson Regional Hospital (They changed the name of it....I still call it JMH). I have wonderful insurance from my husband and they just changed the 6 month to 3 month follow with the doctor, so I just got done in February with mine! I will keep my fingers crossed and pray that you get your May date!!! Thanks again for contacting me and for the welcome! Take care!
