Surgery April 30

Hello everyone, I am excited that I finally have a surgery date. I started this journey almost a year ago. Had to do the six months with doctor diet then several tests. Then it took 3 months for insurance approval. Now less than 2 weeks to surgery. I am in Kentucky and will be going to Norton Hospital in Louisville. I am a little nervous about the pre op diet I have been hearing about. But I am ready.:)

Congratulations!! The pre op diet isn't easy but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The wait is well worth it. This surgery has changed my life. The only regret that I have is that I didn't get it done sooner. Don't cheat on the pre op diet. No matter how hard it gets. The point is to shrink your liver and I have heard where people have cheated and the doctor has called off the surgery. I PROMISE you that the wait is worth it. I also had to wait the 6 months for the surgery. I thought the day would never get here.
