4 days postop question

I have a strange question and not sure how to explain it. I am 4 days postop and I have been having these strange spasm feelings in my esophagus today off and on. Kind of like an air pocket feeling? I am on clear liquids only and am trying to sip. Am I taking too big of gulps? Does anyone else know what I am talking about???

That sounds like you are taking to big of sips or trying to drink to fast. It's all normal. As your swelling goes down you will be able to drink normally without gulping of course. Try some sugar free ice pops. They help with the swelling, help to get your fluids and and taste yummy in the process.
