April 16th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, My name is Queen and I am very excited and scared to say that I have been approved by my insurance and my date is April 16th. Dr. Carter is my surgeon and I am excited about my future. This battle of the bulge has been with me for the majority of my life. I know have children and a husband that I want to live forever with. God bless everyone on this forum for all of your inspirational messages and good wishes. My date is right around the corner. Are there any tips you have for me????:smile2::thumbup:

Congrats on getting a date! I'm scheduled for april 14th so I don't have much veteran advice for you but hopefully with our dates being so close I can provide some encouragement! Almost time for a brand new life.

Sashay, Congrats to you also. I know you must be excited as I am. I have been very excited all this time, now that the time is near I am very scared. :smile2:

Ohh Queen I can relate!! I have already considered holding off for one last attempt at weight loss on my own! Any kind of 'invasive' scares me laproscopic or not but its for the greater good! These stories on here are very encouraging every time doubt surfaces so this is all I've been doing since I set the date Thursday. I'm a few days ahead of you so ill be sure to let you know how it goes & what helped for me! Support & research are essential!
