Help, restriction.

I had a fill on the 24th of March. Since this fill I can not eat for a couple of hours in the morning. I am also having trouble eating more than a bite or two without feeling like it is stuck. I am eating the right things and chewing it very well but it seems like no matter what it is I struggle. Should I wait to see if it loosens up or should I get an unfill.

I was hungry all the time at 7.4 cc now I am at 7.9 and it is a drastic change. Probably eating only 1/2 cup of food three times a day and it takes a long time to get it down.

The fill is so fresh that, if you're able to get fluids down, I'd baby it for a week or so to see what happens. (If you're concerned though, check with your doctor to see what s/he thinks.)

I was filled on the 26th, and still am babying mine---my doctor's view is that, if you can get fluids down, it's a good indicator that within a few days to a week (or so), food will be tolerated.

For me, warm drinks help.

Are you hungry? If not and you are able to stay hydrated, I'd ride it out.

But if only being able to eat this little is leaving you hungry, I'd say you might want to get a small unfill.

HTH,

Amy

I'm with the above...as long as you can drink you'll be okay, if you're hungry and having difficulty not eating you may want a little unfill, but keep in mind things tend to loosen after a week or two. I'm 2 weeks out from fill #3 which has been kicking my butt...things have improved over the last 2 or 3 days and today is the first day I've had where I had no "stuck" feeling all day long....

Good luck!
