Got the ball rolling. I had my surgical consult. Finished the 6 month diet and have pre-approval. Now just need official approval and to see dietitian, then we will set a date. I am excited and freaked out at the same time. I know the pre-op diet will suck, but wow for the ability to get healthy I says bring it on! Lol I am a little impatient but I figure I have been fat for 36 years I can wait a few more months.

Great! I am sure that you are excited that it's getting so close to getting banded.

It's nice to see someone local here! I live in Peoria, and am just starting with the lapband process. I have been to one seminar back in October, but am going to another on the 1st of April for a refresher. I have an appointment to go over my insurance etc on the 6th, then don't know what's going to happen next!
