Band 12/28/09 update

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share an update I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I went for my apponitment yesterday I am a few days shy of my 3rd month post op. I have been losing slowly in all since my procedure I have lost 30 pounds. I have a total of 4 cc in my band I finally ask my dr. I must share with everyone I am soo glad I decided to have the band done.

In all since I have been trying to lose with these past two years off and on. I was reflecting back to my weight and so far I have lost 61 pounds. I look forward to keep moving in the right direction. :smile:

thats great.good job!! i just got banded on march 1st. i have a few more weeks until my first fill but i cant wait because i can eat quite a bit if i wanted to! i want to have some restriction! did you haVE the same problem at all?

Thank you, I am still learning as far what I can and can not eat. For the most part I can eat about a cup to a cup and a half. I tend to get full fast so I stop once I get that feeling. I have only had one bad experience while eating and I think I just ate it too fast and got stuck. So now I really chew my food well. I just know my eating habits have changed alot I used to drink sodas all the time. It's been since I went for my band consult since I have stayed soda free....lol. well I wish you the best luck I know you will do great.
