Port Pain

When does this cease? Do you remember when it didn't bother you anymore? Only 7 days out and I know I have a while. It seems to be bothering me a little bit more now. I have a burning sensation and of course the tugging/pulling feeling inside... Yack.. i dont like it at all! :cursing:

It'll all be worth it but for now it sucks

Its been over 3 weeks for me and i still have port pain. Not major pain but a lot of discomfort!:cursing:

I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and I still have a little pain and discomfort, the first week and a half though was a killer and noone had told me about that part of the procedure. It was a case of live and learn. It does get better, just take it easy and it will subside. :cursing:

Banded by Dr Watson

Perth Australia

Feb 23 2010

I don't remember how long my port pain lasted, since I was banded in 2003. Resolved by six weeks, I think. The only time it hurts now is if I press an edge against it (like carrying a box) or when my cat stands on it.

I was banded on 3/2 and my port pain is 90% resolved. Last week it was horrible so based on the rate that it has been subsiding I expect it to be gone within another week.

I always have port pain. I was banded 8/2008. It is not constant but I cannot wear jeans without it hurting when I sit down. I cannot sit period for a long time. I always have that reminder it is there.
