I just got off of the phone with my pre-op nurse... Surgery is Wednesday morning. DH is a lot more nervous about it than I am. I do not know how to calm him down...

He may stay nervous until you are safely back in the car and on your way home, but he'll be okay. Get everything ready at home, and that will let you rest easy, and he won't have too many last minute things to do. Get liquid Gas-X or something like that, and some sugar-free popsicles! Good luck!

He's nervous because he is going to have to clean the house. LOL Be sure to act as pitiful as possible. Don't let him know how good you really feel after surgery. You are going to feel like you did a lot of cruches and full of gas. Be sure to walk, walk, walk.
