Good Luck! Hope everything goes well for you. Anxious to hear how it goes!

Thank you, I was in the O.R. For 1.5 hours and I was not in the frame of mind to ask why so long. Everything went well I guess I woke up with a lap band and a ton of pain! I never been put under before and was really nervous but it was over fast and I didn't Sven know what hit me. My incensions do not hurt at all and where they put the port is hurting a bit but I have an ice pack on it, I don't know if it is gas or where the band is attached to my stomach but I am in alot of pain there and it doesn't seem to move so I don't think it is gas. I have the gas pains in my shoulders and neck that seem to come and go. All in all I am not feeling to bad, I am uncomfortable and can get in a good position but I not taken any pain meds since I have come home either. I will admit I was mortified about the pain but all is ok, if I get to hurting too bad I have the food stuff. Sorry if it doesn't make alot of sence because I am kinda curled up in bed on my phone lol! Goodluck every one, I can't wait to hear others stories

Great news and it is encouraging to see people online right after surgery.

I'm going in 5 and a half days and the pain is the only thing that concerns me.

I had mine done yesterday...my pain is minimal. Mostly muscular on my right side and where the port is. I have very little gas pain. I haven't taken the liquid pain med they gave me, liquid Tylenol seems to work fine.

I was just banded yesterday and I felt fine after surgery and all through the night. When I woke up this morning, I felt like a truck hit me though. The gas pains have been the worst! Luckily the chewable gas-X tablets have been helping with that. it sucks though that they pump you full of fluids before, during and after surgery, because I now weigh more than I was the morning of the operation! I know all that will go away once nature flushes me out...

The liquid Lortab is really helping!

I wrote all about it in my blog and have pictures of my incision in case anyone wants to take a look-see!

Best wishes to you!!

Typos due to liquid Vicodin taking over my fingers!

Lol they do fill you up with fluids don't they! I am glad you saOd that necause I was wondering why I gained 3.5 pounds by the time I got home and I knew this because I had to write down my official pre op weight in stone! All down hill from here, now if the gas will leave me I will feel better

I'm glad you are doing well. I'm worried about the pain now though. I'm a big chicken, I've had two babies and a hernia repair. Is the pain worse than that?
