Just got my approval through Capital Blue Cross Blue Shield PA no problems at all only been about a week!!!!!! Surgery date is April 12th!!!!!!! So excited and nervous at the same time...:tongue_smilie:

Congrats to everybody! Mine's been moved up to 3/9 but the patient coordinator still hasn't submitted it to BCBS of MA for approval. Sure hope I don't end up with an insurance nightmare.:tongue_smilie:

Mine has actually gone pretty smooth except for all the tests and all. I didn't have a supervised diet or anything so it was pretty easy. So can't wait to go clothes shopping and be able to shop in the smaller peoples section!!!!!!!!! YIPPY.. Good luck to everyone else that has their surgeries coming up next month!!!! Congratulations!! I was approved yesterday and my surgery is 4/1 at NYU. Good luck everyone!! I am a mix of excited and nervous!!

Congrats to all on your approval! Get ready for the wild ride. I was banded on 1/27 and haven't looked back.I'm down 21 pounds today! 2 huge things have happened - I've gone shopping in my own closet and found tons of 'new' clothes, and I dropped a shoe size so I went shoe shopping at home too!
