Hi everyone!

Hello, my name is Brandi! I started my two week pre-surgical diet today and my Lap-Band surgery is scheduled for March 1st. I'm getting a little anxious and thought maybe talking to others who have or will be having the same experience might help. Any suggestions or pointers would be great!

Hi, Brandi!! Welcome! Here is my advice for you. . .

1. Take before photos ASAP if you haven't already!

2. Write down your measurements ASAP so that you will have a reference point as you lose!

3. Read up on "Bandster Hell" and make a plan for how you will eat when you're off the liquid diet and before you get to restriction.

That's it! You are in for a really amazing year, and I wish you much success!

Best wishes,

Catherine

Hi Brandi, I'm new here to the site too. I have been getting lots of good advice concerning the pre-op diet. Whenever I feel like "cheating" I just read on here and get motivated. My surgery is on the 25th. I struggled with the pre-op but is it becoming easier each day. good luck to you.
