I have been banded for just over 2 years. Went in for a fill on Thursday and my pouch was bigger than it should have been but the band was tight. I have been able to eat bread for the last month which was odd and so I thought a fill was in order. The doctor said I had band slippage. So, the decision was made to pull all 6 cc's out for two weeks to see if gravity takes hold and pulls the stomach down through the band to make the pouch smaller again and then begin filling again, basically repositioning the band without surgery.
Has anyone else experienced this situation and if so, is this the process? If this does not work, then what should the next step be? Thank you in advance for your advice.
