looking for a buddy for support

I had my lapband surgery in May of 2009. I lost 35 lbs. prior to surgery, and 26 lbs. after surgery. I've had a total of 5/6 lapband fills. But I am having alot of concerns about progress with my weight loss, along with eating issues. Would love to have someone to connect with that I could get feedback concerning issues with the lapband procedure.:)

I noticed your post and I know that until you get a fill you have minimal restriction. I am not sure where you got your surgery but fills cost on average 100.00 and more if done under fluoroscopy. I had my surgery in Tijuana and i am going for my first fill back to Tijuana as they do it under fluoroscopy and i am hoping to get it right the first time. The cost to me is 100.00. There should be a doctor in your area that does fills if not your own. It appears you have done well in the loss department so far but I would recommend a fill to give yourself restriction and continue the journey. I would even be willing to lend you the cost of a fill if it would help. I am a Canadian on the west coast but I know we need to support each other. Feel free to mail me for any advice or help I can give. Good luck and hang in there!

Take,

I just want to say I think you have a heart of gold for the offer you mentioned in your post. Everyone on this forum just seems to be so helpful and generous with their advice and information. I couldn't have found a better forum to be a part of, and I'm thankful that there are wondeful people on here, just like yourself.

Good luck in your weight loss journey!

Sincerely,

Tina
