The last few days have sucked!! UGH! And not even because of this surgery, but having two very sick little ones

Today has been a good day. Still very tired due to the lack of calories, protein or carbs, but getting in a lot more water! The bad news? Very hungry, and not just head hunger, I really want something to much, but no such luck for another 10 days!

I am really having trouble losing weight pre-op. Initially, I lost 10 lbs and then life took over and I wasnt able to get back to the gym as regularly. The protein shakes disgust me. I found out adding a banana isnt good for my diet, according to the nutritionist. Yet, it helped me to get the shake down by cutting the whey taste. I havent given up yet and I wont. But I am trying to gather up my willpower. The surgeon didnt give me a set amount of weight to lose. I guess she just wanted to see...

BZ just got inducted into the dumbest sleevers hall of fame...BZ was thirsty you see and ready to check out at the grocery store sodas are too sweet for my new taste buds and the regular water 4 lanes down from mine...my best option PERRIER! It's official now, it doesn't really matter what I eat as long as I follow some guidelines for protein, water and calories. I eat low carb for a good week, I stall. I pig out on white bread, I lose. IT...DOES...NOT...MATTER

Up late cause I craved protein after working out. I can't wait till my protein stuff gets here so I can try some eggface recipies. I ate chicken too fast tonight (not enough chewing)- I won't do that again.

This evening I went to my nutrition class and it was so great to hear what I should be expecting. I have given it sooo much thought over the last few days with a lot of research and speaking to people, I have decided that the VSG is the option for me. Thank you all for the support and feedback!

My surgeon told me I wasn't eating enough protein, so I upped it, and I got in 90 grams today!

Today I am 1 week post-sleeve. And I am soo hungry. My blood sugar was 66, then 2hrs after broth still 66. See doctor tomorrow. Praying he lets me start on protein shakes. His office workers say my hunger is psychological but I think my low blood sugar backs me up. Any thoughts out there?

first full day on low calorie/high carb diet= 1100 calories / 64 g. carbs / 136 g. protein... not sure if my carbs are too high... any advice????

5 days post-op and I'm soooo hungry. Why is this? I am drinking constantly. Lots of chicken & beef broth. Should I try a protein shake (small amount)?

Two weeks out today! Two weeks into my new life. Feeling much better the last few days. Getting 72 grams protein a day and atleast 50 ounces of water. you were all right! It does get easier!
