    Well I'm 10 months out & 91.2 pounds lighter!! Not as much as some but I'll get to where I want to be eventually!!
  4. It has been almost 10 months since I had the sleeved and I am down 171 pounds 14 sizes down and total body loss 127 inches. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it and follow the program. The sleeve is not going to do all of the work for you but if you work for it you can achieve your desired results. Wish I would have done this 10 years ago.
  5. Hey guys i am 23 years old, i am extremely excited for my surgery coming up in October. My first visit was on August 6, 2014 and I am so happy that I was able to get the process done within 2 months. I am looking for buddies that are getting surgery around the same time as me so that we can encourage each other. I haven't told anyone that I am getting this surgery done so I am on my own. My birthday is on the 4th and I call this a birthday gift lol. I am 5'10 and 298 and my goal is to reach 150. So if you are getting surgery in October as well please feel free to comment, lets keep in touch! p.s. idk if i should post pictures up yet...should i?
  6. I've found this treasure when I was a teenager some 20+ years ago. My ex-Stepmother had a copy of this book and I took it an read it. Suffice to say I never returned it... LOL :-) I still do have it to this day. It is by FAR the best workout book I have ever (well I can't say bought... haha) came across. I have been getting many requests for tips on how I'm being able to keep my shape the way I am. I'd say there are several factors to this. Firstly, eating low carb... it does help with belly flab!! Believe that. Low carb eaters have much flatter tummies than those who do not. Second, my running really is helping sculpt a very lean body structure. I can't say enough about this!! I don't think I've EVER been able to get my legs to cooperate as much as I can right now with looking thinner all the time. Third, and this is what I'm sharing here with you all. It is called Callanetics: 10 Years Younger in 10 Hours. Best. Muscle toning workout. EVER!!! It does NOT bulk you up. I have a hard time keeping this from happening which is why I don't really do a lot of weight training. I don't want to look like a bodybuilder! I could get this way very easily. Instead these workouts only tone and sculpt a very lean and sexy figure, for both women AND men. There are testimonial pages showing this within the book. I just now bought the complimentary DVD's and I am planning to take these workouts to a whole new level. I hope this inspires some! I'm not kidding these workouts are pretty amazing. Little known in the workout world but so worth it if you find it. FYI, some of the DVD's are a waste and are not created by the original founder of these workouts.   8. I was banded on Wednesday the 12th. I had no hunger on Wednesday or Thursday but today I feel hunger pains. I just drank a few ounces of Protein drink and my stomach is bubbling. I will try again in a bit. I plan on having thin Soup for lunch. I had to have Clear liquids for two days then full liquids including yogurt for two days then applesauce/pudding and bananas for 2 days. By Wednesday I can have mashed potatoes/well cooked veggies/vegetable soup and Beans. Every two days I can more things. My throat is still sore from being intubated. I had a lot of sinus drainage yesterday and it felt like I had indegestion. It felt like something was sitting on my chest. I coughed and some of the drainage broke loose. I was afraid to cough because well it hurts and I didn't want to shift the band. I'm not taking the prescription pain meds at all. Just adult liquid tylenol if I need it which is about once a day. So far so good..
