What you are eating is not the enemy so much as how much you are eating is. If what you are eating provides nutrients in some form then it is good to consume it. Just make sure it's not going over your calorie and balance limits. =)

Pre-Op diet is getting better. I had to up my calories because I was essentially starving myself. My stomach has stopped aching and my need for carbs has been reduced. I have a few more days then I move into a diet with no meal (all liquid). OAN: I wish I could get more days off from work after the surgery :-(

so, i'm sooooo careful about charting my weight daily and looking back over the last 4 weeks i've realized that i lose the most on Sunday and Monday, which coincide with the huge amount of dancing i do on Saturday night into Sunday morning... but for the days i'm just walking... zip!! SO... from now on i'm going to forget about walking... it uses a lot of time for very few calories burned... instead i'm going to focus on higher intensity aerobic exercise!!!

I'm pushing my morning runs to 6x per week now. Gotta keep those calories out and keep it moving!! I looovvveeee the way it feels when you push your body to the limits and know that you CAN DO IT!!! A fit healthy body and a strong mind - it's what I'm about!

I am determined to start tracking my food intake again. I def. see the scale move better when I'm counting calories/carbs/fat/protein. My next hurdle is making the time to fit in some sort of exercise.

So even though the scale isn't going down as fast as I had hoped I can tell a difference in my clothes. I fit into two pair of pants I haven't worn in 2 years and I can put my shirts on straight out of the dryer instead of trying to stretch them out first
. I've still got to get my calories and fluids up though and then hopefully the scale will be a little nicer.

I need more structure with eating on the weekends. I never make my calorie goals and forget to eat most of the time. During the work week I have a schedule during the weekend everything is out of whack.

Today has been a good day. Still very tired due to the lack of calories, protein or carbs, but getting in a lot more water! The bad news? Very hungry, and not just head hunger, I really want something to much, but no such luck for another 10 days!

It's official now, it doesn't really matter what I eat as long as I follow some guidelines for protein, water and calories. I eat low carb for a good week, I stall. I pig out on white bread, I lose. IT...DOES...NOT...MATTER

So far so good. I am able to eat solids much easier now. Even better news: now that I can get my calorie intake back up to 800-1000 instead of the 500 it was at, my weightloss apppears to be moving again!
