Hi there!! Doing great, Feeling great! Recovery was pretty much a breeze. How are you doing? I don't go in for a checkup until 6 weeks with my surgeon (but did a 2 week post op with PCP for good Karma) Eating good, no major issues, no heartburn, no gas.

Hi Deb! Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday. My appt is at 2:15 so not sure when I'll be done. Last time I went I waited for an hour or more before I got in. Hopefully - not the case this time. I would think I'd be done by 3:00. Dr. H's new location is 23401 Prairie Star Pkwy, Suite 300, Lenexa. It says it is in the SM Prairie Star Outpatient Pavilion. Renee

So how are you feeling? I hope you are healing well!

My PCP just sent my referral yesterday so I am waiting for the call from Richmond. I am very excited to get thing started already - lol

I'm exactly the same way...I feel like a failure for not getting to goal...I have about 20 to go...yet I also am really proud that I have lost 80...argh...I've been content to just eat what I want and not exercise as much lately, but this last week I've finally gotten my motivation back. I started tracking food on my iphone and that seems to be helping...good luck to you darlin!

Renee, thanks for the heads up about Dr. H's office. We can still meet there, but where is he located now. Wow down 2 more pounds since last week. You are doing super.... woman. I know corny joke. Holla back and Hugs!!

I am post op day 3. Very sore and have trouble getting up and down. Some swelling around the biggest incision site but by temperature has stayed around 99.9. Not having problems drinking or getting thicker liquids down. Today is better, but have been thinking ... "What have I done!"

It was good. I ate about 1/3 of it and gave the rest to my daughter. How is everything going? I'm finally beginning to enjoy eating again. I cooked some veggies the other day and hubby smoked me some chicken..it was so good. We are headed back down to LA next week. What kinds of meat do u eat? I find chicken to be about the only meat I can tolerate well.

Hi Laura, I am glad you found me. The sleeve is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I am down 51 lbs and want to lose 50-70 more, but I already look better and feel so much better. I am exercising....going to the gym at least 5 days a week. I am so glad you are doing well. I enjoyed our time shopping. My daughter stole my gucci bag. I never got to carry it. lol

Second week post-op and I havent lost any weight this week

Think im in my first stall, scale is STUCK. Gonna use it for gym motivation and make some lemonade.

almost 3 weeks out and I want to eat cheese sticks----when did you have them?

Dec. 12th is getting closer... the nerves are starting to set in!! I start my liquid diet in in 1 week! Wish me luck

Been busy this week!!! Missed you all

2 week stall followed by a 9.6 lb loss in a week! I'll take that!!!

Started at 289 lbs., On surgery day was 274 lbs., 1 week out from surgery down to 264 lbs....YAY!!

Just starting week 8 of 12 of the Options program at Kaiser. Time is flying and the weight loss is slow but steady. I feel great.

Went out last night with family and friends!! They have not seen me sense I got sleeved and very few know that I have they were so excited to see me and my new body 6 weeks out 45 pounds down!! I danced all night wanted to drink but did not I woke up this morning feeling great!! I am so happy with the decision I made!!

8 weeks of no chewing starts tomorrow. 2 week pre-op liquid diet begins and then the big day!

Baby girl it is getting very hard to stay focus. Coming here on the boards and reading peeps stories and sucesses does help. For the next two weeks I am on vacation and I hope to renew myself. Losing weight has always been a mindset game for me. I might join WW. I have always loved their program and now I hear it is protein base. How are you doing? TTYL.
