I was completely freaking out during the 1st and 2nd period!!!! Y'all definitely out shot us! I am so pumped we beat the Pens. I cannot stand that team. I was bummed that Y'all did not beat them in The Cup last year! Have a good week!

OMG I thought I was the only one but its even worse since mushies I've gained 2-3lbs back I'm like you I just want to wake up and at least 10lbs more gone. I can't wait to get a fill I believe Im scheduled for 1st fill 2nd week in Feb (so long away). I'm going to get a b12 shot in hopes that will speed some of this weight loss off faster. I've slowly been trying to incorporte my eliptical machine.

Good Friday Morning! TGIF! I found the dress, may go back next week and buy it! I will post pics too! I sorta hit a Plateau, eating right, just not going down much, but I think I have done ok, so I just hold on right now and wait, gonna add some exercise in the weekend now that the rain has stopped here. We have roads that are flooded over! It is depressing when you get that much rain and I can't go anywhere do anything, I want to sit, watch TV and eat! So got to get moving to get those lbs to go away! Sunshine is out today. Love your Blogs, keep them coming and I am going to check out your new page too.

Hello, I took 2000 mg of Biotin, but to be honest it didn't really work. I don't know if it was coincidence but within a week of starting on Zinc the hair loss stopped. I lost hair by the handful daily from post op months 4-8. It has finally stopped and I do have new growth. I wish you luck with this and I hope you don't lose to much hair.

I have just posted to the thread, but to reply to your message: The cost of my 2 night stay at The Princess Grace Hospital in London was ?2200 and the cost of all the surgery was just over ?5000.

John Rogers does not include fills in his price nor believe in the practice of saying that the price includes 6 fills etc., as most people will not require more than 3, so should not be charged in advance unnecessarily.

The cost per fill is 125 for his services plus ?200 for the x-ray department charges at PGH. Consultations with him are also ?125 in Harley Street.

I have found him to be the most honest, no-nonsense man. He explains fully and clearly what he will do, how it will feel and what you should expect from it. He will offer you two types of band - the old single stitch band (most commonly used) or the new French band that works on exactly the same principal but is held in place with 5 retaining stitches as opposed to 1. Obviously you may decide to go for the by-pass which is much more invasive and he will discuss this with you too.

The hospital was lovely and the treatment I received was first class.

Good luck with whatever you choose. Remember - this is for life and your life must and will change. It can be hard and sometimes uncomfortable, but the options are negative: fat/asthma/diabetes/emphysema/heart disease etc.

I have lost over 4 stones since October on 2 fills. I still have a way to go but I'm getting there.

How are you doing? I'm doing great! I went to the doctor and got a fill June 30th. I was nervous about the fill , but it's not that bad. It's just a stick then I heard a pop and the doctor said that was the needle entering the port. I hate needles but it was not bad at all. I'm sooooo glad I had the lapband. Doctor Felts made me feel soooo good about myself and said I was doing great. I had lost 17 lbs in a month by his scales. By my scales I had lost 20 lbs. I get another fill July 28th and I go see Dr. Felts in September. He said he expects me to lose at least 12 lbs a month. I opted to get a fill in 4 weeks, I was told I could get my second fill in three weeks.I got 1.6 cc fill this time. I have a total of 4.4cc in my band now. I forget what size band I have,, I think it's a 10cc or 12 cc band I'll ask him again next time I go. Also when you go for your fill ask for a card to track your fill and progress. They gave me one and it has your weight, BMI and fill volume. But you have to ask for the card. Since I had my fill I have better restriction than I did have but I can still eat. I just chew really good. I don't want mine too tight. As you lose you will need fills because as you lose weight the band loosens some. I just don't want to experience throwing up. Since going to the doctor June 30th I have lost an additional 7 lbs. I am well pleased with the results .

I was reading your post about preparing for a bodybuilding competition and saw your workout schedule, but was wondering if you could also post what a typical week long menu looks like for you (with measurements if possible)? Also, how much isolated protein and nitro explosion do you consume per day and what time of day?

I'm really desperate for this info so I can start getting my body in great shape, too just like yours. You look awesome!!

hello all i am new to the group. I just had lap band surgery a little over 3 1/2 weeks ago. I feel great. I lost 21 pounds so far. I am glad that i made the decision to go with the surgery.

you don't know how your answers has helped me. i can't say thank you enough, 50lbs is a lot, :thumbup: and i agree slow is better.:iagree:How long did you have to wait after your seminar? mine was on 6/19/08 said they would call that week but they haven't yet. what insurance do you have ?

I am looking forward to this band. I am getting ready for my fourth doctors visit for insurance purposes. Meanwhile I have found out today I have low B12 and iron. I am already taking 50,000 units of Vitamin D every week. I have sjogrens syndrome and I take plaquenel I wonder if that can cause the deficiencies. Oh well, I figure this will delay my lapband. Pray everything is ok and I can continue with the lapband.

So you got your date in early July! I wish I would have thought of asking them to schedule me early....I changed mine to August 6, because I'm going to be on Vac the last week of July and I want to have a better time then I would with the band!(:

I am excited to get a WII Fit. They are sold out around here. Twenty lbs is so awesome. I love the fact that you are measuring instead, That is such a better indicator. I love the holiday idea. The other date was on one too...MEMORIAL DAY (remembering the dead!!!) I guess this one will be much more FUN! I have been applying everywhere to try to line up a job for after surgery. I have put my life on hold because I kept telling myself I didn't want to start a new job and then try to get time off for surgery. We are going to Michigan the day I have my one week check up. They said just to stand up and walk every hour. It is already a 12-13 hour trip without stopping except for gas and traffic. I hope you keep up the great work. Going back to work tomorrow on my 1 week bandiversary... Ahhhh!

I spent some time last night trying on old clothes to see what fits and what's still a way off. My current size 22 stretchy jeans (which I could barely get into 3 months ago) are starting to get too big, my non stretchies fit, and I can get into a lot of my 20s, though they're too tight to wear. Another 10 lbs, and I should be able to wear them comfortably. =)

Had my lapband rebuckled ! Lost 12 pounds in 3 days time to get skinny again !

I took my measurements today to guage my progress, and I've lost several inches on my hips, waist, and bust. My boobs have shrunk 3 1/2 inches in 3 months! Why can't I lose that from my belly instead? LOL! #TheEternalQuestion

Day 3 of liquids...this headache is killing me

Not that happy with True Results right now...It's been almost 3 months since my first fill! I finally could get scheduled for an appointment in another 2 weeks! I understand their busy, but geez!! Anyone else have this issue?

I celebrated my 38th birthday on June 13th and had my second fill. Wasn't able to eat a piece of cake but i am happy to say that I am 50lbs down this week. Yeah, I reached my 50lb mark for my birthday.

Gotta love going into work on a Saturday! Weighed myself this morning 297!! Lost a pound and a half since Sunday! My 4 week post op video will be coming soon!
