Everybody seems to understand what she is going through but how does this affect him? What is he going through by not being able to make love to his wife?does anybody really think about what that does to ur husband to not have sex for moths or YEARS?!? I think it's disrespectful to ur husband and to the marriage to make that decision.I do know that u may not want to do it every day ,or every week or even every month.but one time in 4 yrs is just wrong to me.Can he at least get dome seasonally I'm mean come on really ?? I Agee that there should be some counseling and communication to get to the bottom of whatever it is but that is not right and needs to change.

  10. Welcome !! Just ask a question on any of the forums and somebody will have an answer.I was banded 4/6 and already lost 32 lbs total including wt loss during the two week pre op diet.I'm on here religiously and use some of the advice (some things are not for everybody) but I think it's because of this site that I've been successful so far.and the success stories are very inspiring. There is a success story forum but many of the success come out in different conversations throughput the site. Also people are really open about what they did wrong what to avoid and what to look out for. It's been great !

  18. My best friend died from diabetes at 26 yrs old.I got gestational diabetes with my son in 2009.they told me because of my weigh If I didn't have it after his birth I would probably get it back with a couple of yrs.death is inevitable but dying from diabetes, high blood pressure, and other weight related diseases is not.I'd rather die in plane crash or something that was out of my control than to know that My demise was all my own fault.

  20. For me it was hard to stick to the changes pre lap band.now I've had the band 7 weeks.and I can't over eat.I will get sick if I try.I could however eat ice-cream all day and gain weight but I think that's where " I spent all this money" comes in.but it not only helps with portion control it also stops u from feeling hungry by squeezing the nerves that send signals to ur brain that says ur hungry.but it is a TOOL not a magic bullet. I don't think most people are fat because they want to be,they need help to do what they are supposed to do.The lap band is that help.
  21. I was the diet cole 6 times a day breakfast lunch dinner snack and night cap.I ordered a diet coke last week while at a karaoke bar with friends.not only did it not taste like I remembered,I was literally scared to drink it so I took a couple of sips since my friends bought it but didn't drink it all :-)
  22. I had a c-section tha went horribly wrong .I had to have deep wound packing for 3 months afterward .So yea lap band much easier for me :-)
