I am down 56 lbs and I'm just now feeling the weightloss

I have faith that God will give me the mindset to have the will power to do what I need to do. Faith is the beginning of helping yourself.

Banderama I think u are so wrong and hypocritical for this statement .if you don't believe that God helps people with the Lapband keep scrolling.But name calling is so unnecessary. Wether u believe in God or not most people know that it took a strength beyond them to make the decision to change your life and lose weight.After you are banded you still have to find the strength to make the right food choices food amounts and exercise.So if u can do that on your own great for you and maybe u don't need the band at all.But don't knock someone for stating what's helping them stick to this lifestyle even if the something is God. To poster Regarding " target audience" 1.if you are a Christian as well as many other faiths , the world is your target audience. You are supposed to spread the good news of ur faith to everyone. I really hope the person leaving Lapband talk come back.This site is very inspirational and to me having diverse opinions is what makes it great ! You will find your nitch or click with like minded that will help you. The spiritual piece is very helpful to some including me and not so for others but that's what life is about. My son is 3 and uses my belly as s punching/ kicking bag to practice his karate.I just showed him the bandages and told him the doctor cut my tummy to make better.now every chance he gets he tries to lift my shirt and see the scars.the other day he asked me if the doctor used a scapel.I have no idea where he got that word from.

My name is the same as here bigenuff .I haven't been consistent but in there:-)

I have had mine 5 months down 54 lbs.no problems but I know there are some.I agree check lap band complications or just google it.

I was banded 4/6/12 two days before Easter Sunday.My family was more freaked out about than I was.But I sat at the table sipping my broth ( also tried a little tomato basil but it was too rich) and enjoying the jokes laughter,and reminiscing .I had no appetite since i was 2 days post op and I didn't crave anything.if you can get it done now go for it.Don't wait.!! Glad you came full circle don't go back around with procrastination ! Looking forward to seeing you on the banded side ! Good luck to you ! :-)

I hate to say this but sounds like he is going to divorce you anyway.So I'd say do what's vest for you.If he's nasty to you anyway stay back get the surgery get healthy feel better look better, then see who wants the divirce.... Thee shoe may be on the other foot hmmm

Every person and every doctor is different.I felt restriction with no fill and my first one was 3.5 cc.others .others have had 4-5 fills and are at 3.5 cc.

You are not lying if you actually did those things.although omission can be considered a lie.:-) but it's your business not theirs.you are eating less and exercising snd that is absolutely true.for me it's easier to just tell them about lap band.I don't advertise but do share when asked .
