Just got back on the scale since my surgery! Sorry it's been so long. 43 days have passed and I have lost a total of 40 pounds!

Waiting to be dismissed from the hospital. Really sore but up and walking around so I'm not stuck with so much gas.

It keeps on getting closer- I go in early Tuesday and have all my pre-op stuff done. I don't look forward to getting up at 5:30 so I can be there at 8:45 but I know it will all be worth it. Also, can't believe that I can't eat anything on Wednesday, day before my surgery, and I have to take 4 dululax and a bottle of magnesium citrate at 4pm on Wednesday - at least the time is after school. When Thursday comes around I'm going to be a huge bundle of nerves, but a very happy bundle of nerves!

It's finally here! My surgery date is 3/31/11... my motto for this being in March is March-On! It may be the last day but I got the approval today and I won't have to do the pre-op diet like most people do. M surgery is a week away!

I went to the surgeons office yesterday and everything is finally turned in. Now all I have to wait for is my approval and the date of my surgery. I'm super pumped for this! I thought a few months ago that this would never come along and here it is. I can't wait to start my life with a fresh new outlook!

Going this afternoon to get my Venous Doppler Study done. Pretty excited about how fast all of these tests are coming and going.

I got a call from the surgeon's office today. My scope is schedules for Jan. 18th at 11am!

I loved meeting my surgeon today! Now I just wish everything else would move along faster also

Thanks! I don't have one yet but then again I have my last required Doctor's Appt. in the early part of February. By the time that comes around, my nurse had reassured me, I'll be ready to go!

excited because 4 days from now I'll be, finally, turning 18. I'll then be able to log onto REALIZE.com and start my profile on there. All of this happening is the best birthday present I've ever wanted

got my Psych scan, dietician and nurse visit done all in one day! I thought I would be evaluated for one thing at a time

Since there has been no school here for the last two day, I've been busy studying for finals since they are this week. Also, I've been spending a lot of my time thinking about LAP-BAND. My fourth month appointment is December 14th and from there I will be able to move on. It seems as if I've been waiting forever for this to happen. I'm glad that now I can finally get this ball moving forward
