I just realized that I am over half way to my goal!

It has been one year since I was banded!! I feel good about the new me...and the journey continues:-)

I'm learning to enjoy cold food because it takes so long to eat.

Back from Jamaica, time to get back on track!!

Finally, I got my first fill today!

After 2 weeks of no weight loss, finally 3 pounds down...

My doctor cleared me for exercise. I started today...feel pretty good!

Had my first doctor's appointment since the surgery. I am doing well. I eat my first real meal today :-)

Day 6 post-op was a good day...feeling so much better, thank u Lord!!

Day 3 post-op....I'm very hungry!!!

Day 2 (post-op), this gas makes me uncomfortable. I am a little sore but it's not too bad. I am trying to get my liquid in but it's kinda hard.

So, today is the big day! I have to be at the hosiptal by 10:30 this morning. I am up early trying to shake the butterflies in my stomach.

I thought that as the days progressed it would get easier...not really. But here I am at day 11 and I've lost 14 pounds. Four more days until the big day!

Wow, day 6 and down 11 pounds! Now on to day 7....

Finished day three & lost 6 pounds!! Now, on to day four....

Day 2 wasn't to bad. No headache but I had some serious hunger pains. I stayed true to my pre-op diet...now onto day three.

Well, day one went very well! I had a little headache early in the day but I had some tea-it helped. Stay tuned for day two...

I start my pre=op diet tomorrow (liquids only) I am nervous already!

I love outdoor pictures...I started about two years ago but I had a bump in the road so to speak. I spoke with my doctor about surgery in the spring 08 and got pregnant fall '08, lost the baby in winter '08. Needless to say, I experienced a setback. So I started the journey again Sept '10 and was approved by everyone this month. Happy Holidays to you as well!
