hey iam a sorta kinda newbie ive been here before ,,,, but we share the same banded date for this yr 12.360.2010 is my date as well , i hate my liquid diet its getting close to the date ive taken in so much Water a Protein Shakes to last a whole month , yuck i hate it all, but i know there has to be a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow of lapband for me lolllll, wow i wish u the best in all of this process and stand tall be strong an ill do the same .we will need it oh im in ft worth texas

WoW, I am feeling same way as well i get banded in a few days here an while on this liquid diet i got to missing the so called awesome foods i enjoy, all awhile beating my self down cause im now on liquid diet an cant eat.ike others have said shine bright hold head high , these what seem to be tough days DONT LAST ALWAYS, GOD s word taught me that an its true , lol but you will make it an so will I . this time next year we will both look back an say wow we made it an yhea it was for the best , hold on dont give in <<< at least thats what I KEEP SAYING TO MYSELF ...

yes ive been there before as welll i have aetna it took them 11buss days in all to get me an approval of which i will be banded on12.30.2010, scare but excited all in one

to all whew I made it as well this is such a big, huge, great change in my life i cant wait to receive this gift on dec 30 2010

I just talked to my surgeon's office today. It looks like as long as I get done my nutritionist appointments and have my psych eval by the end of October, I should be able to have surgery in December!

I specifically asked to have it then because I work at a school. I think it would be better to use my given time off, instead of just picking random times off. I'd rather have it before the New year. Big changes for the new year :rolleyes2: And, lastly. I could easily wait until April for Spring Break.. but with the expected nicer weather I'd rather not. Not to mention having to wait EVEN longer The wait now is killing me.

Anyway... anyone ?!?! lol

Hello I am still new to this all my ins co says 3/ months bend class w/ weght loss dr , of which 1 st appt was on 8/26/10 so far I am 2 classes in I have one more class to go :thumbup: .. does any hve aetna and generally whats the process for approval. My weight has increased due to all my kids it just seem so hard to losse serveral diets ,weight loss meds, i mean everything i could think of . Ive reviewed lapband for years now and happy to say I finally took steps to defeat FAT.:thumbup:
