I have a good friend that is a Southwest pilot and another that is a flight attendant. With that said, I can confirm that their policies have changed. They are more accommodating and better prepared to handle different situations. We just flew in December and had a great flight with no issues.

I'm in also. I love these challenges!!!
Thanks for doing this Sarah!! I absolutely LOVE these challenges and I think they are one of the best and most motivational things about this site!!
My goal is going to be 274.8. Thanks!!

I've been dropping shoe sizes as well. Most of my life I have been 9.5-10.0 and now I am around 8.5-9.0. It's so weird since the majority of my life I was skinny and when I gained a bunch of weight I never went up in size.

I got in almost 10 hours of exercise this week even though I still have blisters on my heels and some toes. Oh well. As I like to say, "if it doesn't hurt then you're not doing it right". lol.

Final weight is 289.0 which is 6 pounds below my goal for this challenge. Yay!!

So far this week I've almost made my goal of 5 hours but today I went out shopping and I bought TWO PAIRS OF SIZE 14 JEANS!!!!!!! When I got my surgery I was a 24 so this was a BIG accomplishment! Just felt like sharing it!
That is AWESOME news!!!! Congrats!!! Very proud of you!!
-
I know how frustrating that can be, especially when you are putting in the exercise. It has happened to me a few times as well.
Awesome!!! I got on the scale this morning and it said 206.2! Finally broke my 208-209 stall!!!Got in 4.5 hours this week with my 4 hour goal...
Hey guys I'm feeling down because I've done 3 hours of exercise so far but my eating hasn't been the best and I got on the scale this morning and I went from 206.2 to 207.6 in need of support. I really need my eating to get back on track. Good news is I'm planning to hit up the gym today.
Your gain could be due to food choices, but it can also be from Water retention, muscle growth, lack of bowel movements, etc.
Just remember this is a lifelong journey and some weeks will be better and some weeks worse. Stay the course and you'll keep doing great!! I believe in you!

Awww thanks. [emoji4] However, you are very determined and I think you could do it without me…though I doubt it would be as fun for either of us.I should add that my husband who is also my best friend is also a big support! We are doing this together as he was sleeved just 2 1/2 weeks before me. He has been the best. Walking and exercising with me. We've done new thing together like going on a hike too. We eat basically the same foods and he does 99% of the cooking for us. I couldn't do this without @@Fatty McFatster !!!!!

We flew Southwest when we went to Mexico and needed seat belt extenders, but you have to ask for them. Also, with Southwest you can get an extra seat for free (if you feel you need it) when you check in at the airport, BUT we found it better to purchase an extra seat in advance (just to make sure the plane wasn't booked), and then when you get back home they will refund you for that extra seat. It is part of their "Customer of Size" policy...which is great!
Not sure if other airlines do that or not. We always fly Southwest because we have a friend that is a flight attendant.
Here is a link to that info: https://www.southwest.com/html/generated/help/faqs/extra_seat_policy_faq.html

I know you are right. But I am actually a shy and sensitive guy and I don't want anyone to think I am bragging or being arrogant.
This speaks well of you, proof that you are a gentleman of fine breeding. Fine, I'll brag for you.
Today's win ... a co-worker just commented "Hey look at you sporting the thigh gap!"
HELLO! HELLO! THIS IS MY RESPONSE TO WORKINONME -- I'm stuck here in the gray box with you. It's fitting, though, because my response is "That's quite a cozy workplace you've got there."Thank you.
@@Fatty McFatster, FRONT AND CENTER!
I took a look at your before & after pics earlier.
