Been a while...but still doing great. Losing about 2 pounds a week and ready to kick the exercise up a notch!

Hi! I am doing pretty well how are you? I feel great most of the time as long as I keep following the rules.
Weight loss is pretty steady at 2 lbs a week...so I am pretty happy with that. -
I am feeling great now! It has been a month since I had my band placed and I am doing very well. My appetite is dimmed for 3-4 hours between my small meals and it is fairly easy to keep my calories down below 1000 per day. I have lost significant weight but even more importantly I am sleeping better, feeling better, clothes are more comfortable, I can bend over to file now at work without pain!

Thamk you to all my well wishers. I promise to blog tomorrow about my xperience. For now I am sleepy, everything went well. Taking the pain minute by minute, the gas is he worst of it, had to mother of all belches and started feeling good enough to check out the net. Good day...lol.

Leanring to play guitar? Wow...we have a lot in common...lol. I taught myself 3 yrs ago...still am actually, I am not "amazing" but it's fun and I enjoy it. My husband just got me a mandolin...so I am learning that too! FUN!

I get to have my nutrition classes and psych eval on the 5th of January. I am hoping to get banded on the 25th of January.

Who was your bariatric coordinator at Dr. Simpsons office? Mine is Jennifer and I like her but she is like...great sometimes and uncontactables other times...maybe it's the holidays?

Going to my new primarty doc tomorrow to discuss everything and get a recommendation letter! yahoo!

Things are going pretty well. I had to battle a primary doc who wouldn't support the surgery or write a letter...but got a new doc now who will help me. I go to see her on Friday and am very excited to talk with her about everything. Hoping I can get the rest of my paperwork together soon and get this going early 2011
