  1. "I used to be obese. Once you've conquered obesity everything else is easy. Life literally moves in slow motion. I'm not saying I'm Superman but let me just put it this way, if I were shot in the head I'm pretty sure everything would be fine. I almost welcome it." Deangelo Vickers (The Office)

  2. 7 weeks post-op tomorrow! Weight loss is going great just wish I wasn't so nauseous from the protein drinks and vitamins all the time :(

  3. Day 5 totally sucked! I was so hungry all day, couldn't seem to shake it no matter how busy I kept myself. Stayed within calorie range, but could have made a few better, and smaller choices for dinner :(

  4. Day Three of Pre-Op diet! So far doing great! Very mentally starving, but also mentally strong, which is a good counter to the hunger pains :D

  5. Decided to increase my calories slightly for the next few days - week, and see what happens.

  6. Determined to get every ounce of the required 64 ounces of water in today!! So weird to have to force it down, I used to be a fish!

  7. Drinking hot/warm water is really helping me get some fluids in. I cannot take cold or room temp water, and just the thought of profect makes me sick.

  8. Got a Zumba dvd that I am pumped to do this morning....now if I can just convince my little ones that mommy needs to dance so stay outta the way! :D

  9. Had a great post-op visit with my doc yesterday. He says everything looks right on track and sees me reaching 125 easily by one year out. That is just crazy for me to think of weighing that again!! Fingers crossed!

  10. Having a hard time getting in my water all the sudden. Only able to get about 48oz a day or so and it needs to seriously increase. Especially considering I live in southern AZ!

  11. Hello all my new friends and March Sleevers....are you as stoked as I am?? Seriously, can't focus on a thing, can't believe this is real!!

  12. HEY! I am a Dr. Chaisson patient also!! Congrats on your new tiny tummy! Best of luck on this incredible journey!!

  13. Holy.....Moley.....4 pounds away from having lost 50 pounds.....that astounds me. It seriously just hit me like a ton of bricks. And in only a little over two months. Ok, I'll say it - I love my sleeve!!!

  14. Hooray! Finally a BMI of 29.9, just low enough to make me overweight instead of obese!! Haven't been that in a LONG time!

  15. I cannot believe how sore I am from all the yard work I did yesterday!! It's awesome! :D Not only is my yard going to look amazing but so am I! lol Too bad my yard will a lot sooner then I will!

  16. I got into the 150's today! Crazy! Weighed in at 159, seriously cannot believe I am seeing that number when mentally I am still over 200lbs.

  17. I have lost over 80 pounds. That just blows my mind and doesn't seem real. I still feel and see the fat girl most the time, but can physically do things I haven't been able to in a long time!

  18. If anyone is on Sparkpeople.com please add me -foxrider

  19. If anyone wants a great online site to track calories and exercise, SparkPeople.com is one of those places!

  20. In the hospital, feeling great, surprisingly so. Just groggy and a hell of a dry mouth!! Thanks for all the well wishes and comments guys, it means a lot to me!!

  21. Is is just me, or do other people get ads for Duncan Hines Brownies on the top and sides of their VSG page too?!? I think it's totally messed up if you ask me!!

  22. Is this stall really over?!? Please, please please?!?!

  23. Jogged a full mile for the first time in months!! It felt good to push myself to do it. Yes it was a slow jog, but I made myself do it and now my quads are complaining about it today, I LOVE the feeling!!

  24. Jogging 2 miles in a little under 23 minutes, feels pretty damn good, I have to admit. I've come a long way, need to focus on that rather then on how far I still have to go.

  25. Just about half way to goal, it is bittersweet. Glad to be half way, but little intimidated because of how far it is to go still. On another note, Day 3 of 5 Day pouch test, going pretty good, love being back on track and in control!
