  1. Game Over. (Bot 5th 1 out, BFTV 3, SVNL 13) http://gc.io/g131369

  2. 1/10th of a pound and I'll be halfway to goal. Unfortunately, the second half will be much slower than the first half. Oh well...every ounce brings me closer, no matter how slow it feels. Many thanks to those who have been supporting me along this journey!

  3. I'm still a "newbie", but could not believe it when I tried on a pair of jeans at Academy...and they actually fit! I haven't been able to buy clothes from there in YEARS because they don't carry women's sizes, so I definitely had to buy myself a pair. The added bonus? "Normal" size jeans sure cost a lot less than my regular Lane Bryant Right Fit brand!!! Loving my band!
  4. So tired of this constant stomach-ache. Been hurting since last night. Ugh!

  5. Mid 2 recap: 1R 0H 1E [bFTV]. (Bot 2nd 0 out, BFTV 5, SLY 4) http://gc.io/s130295

    True Results - Houston

I considered attending this last week, but my fill was scheduled earlier the same day and I just couldn't fathom making the drive twice in the same day. I live in Richmond.

    First fill on Thursday!

Well, I am in the same boat as you guys. He told me last time that I would be getting a fill this time, but everything is looking good and I am losing weight and not hungry without it, so we will just wait to see how I am doing at my next appointment. I hope things went well with those of you that actually got a fill today!
  12. Wow...I am falling asleep sitting up. I MUST be tired!!!

    First fill on Thursday!

I'm going in for my first one Thursday as well and am a nervous wreck! After surgery, I know I shouldn't be, but I HATE needles!!! On the positive side, I co-worker is getting banded that same day, so I will be thinking of her and the positive step she is taking for herself. Wish us luck and let me know how it goes for you. Renee
  14. All my chick-a-dees are in for the night, so I can finally go to bed. I hate that I feel like I can't rest until they are all present and accounted for. Not sure HOW I am gonna deal next year.

  15. Making a conscious decision not to walk tonight. After 1 1/2 hours sitting in this weather, I don't think I can handle any more. Gonna snuggle up with my blankie instead.

  16. Sure is gonna be a cold night watching Powder Puff!!!

  17. Being so good. Got my iPod and my walking shoes and I am OFF!

  20. OMG My eye is killing me! I sure hope it feels better when I wake up in the morning. This is miserable.

Sister is hurt from my weight loss

Jackie, I am having the exact same issue with my daughter. She is 16 and does not want to know anything about my weight loss. Up until now, I was the biggest person in our family (including extended), but she wasn't far behind. The biggest difference between she and me is that she is very physically active and still has not been able to lose. She plays sports and is actually good, despite the weight. I want to encourage her without being demeaning or making her feel less than adequate, but I have no idea how to do that. One of our conversations consisted of her asking if I could ever have Cookies again (as we drove past Nestle Tollhouse). I told her I could if I chewed them really well. She made a comment about sneaking them in and I explained that I had gone to too much mental, physical, and emotional pain to sneak unhealthy food just because I could. She said that she had not ever thought of it like that and that she didn't think she would ever be able to do it. It made me sad, but at least she could see another point of view. I have stopped telling her how much I have lost and, after the reaction I got when I showed her my current bathing suit comparison picture, I know not to do that again either. Fortunately for me, I have two other teenage daughters who are very supportive (and each weigh less than 130) as well as a husband who took me on a surprise trip to Academy to buy me a college shirt and pair of jeans that actually fit (for our college day at work). I don't think your best friend is "secretly upset with you", but probably has some feelings of inferiority that we ALL have had when we were not as successful on this journey. Aren't we all so lucky to be in the computer age where we have a "safe place" to discuss this?
