  1. I just finished the bottle! How gross tasting... yuck!! Now, I guess I wait for the fun to begin... ughhh LOL =)
  2. My "Day Prior to surgery" instructions read ; Mag citrate is a laxative that will clean out your bowels in preparation for surgery. Eat a light supper of clear liquids after taking the prep.
  3. @ lammrd81 - did you drink the bottle at once ? or over a couple hours ? I am not sure how I am supposed to drink this... If I should just chug it or if I can sip it over a couple hours... Dang, I definitely should have gotten some clarification on this!
  4. I am excited and nervous for tomorrow. I wonder what my fellow September 4th sleevers are doing today ? Other sleevers, what did you do the day before surgery ? I just took a shower and am getting ready to drink the magnesium citrate. Exciting, I know ! LOL
  5. Great job! Congratulations =)
  6. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your story. Just another reason why I love this site. Words are powerful and so much of what you said resonated with me. I am scheduled to be sleeved in 2 days (Tuesday, the 4th) and just having a lot of nerves. Thanks again for your honesty and sharing your story.
  7. I am scheduled for Tuesday also and very nervous! I can't think straight and have a lot of anxiety

  10. Thanks for sharing your experience. I am scheduled for 9/4 and quite nervous. It is encouraging to see uplifting stories like yours. Congratulations and best wishes to you.
  11. I feel like this was written for me and thank you ! (I know it wasn't but it was just what I needed to see) My surgery is 9/4 and I have been a nervous wreck the passed couple days. I have a general feeling of anxiety over me and I can't eat. I am also very emotional. I don't know necessarily if its the pain or what that has me so worked up but seeing your post did make me smile. It seems like recently everything I was reading was on the negative side. Thank you for the encouragement! Odee
  12. If you don't mind me asking, what is your BMI? I am a lower BMI and my office is more relaxed with me also about the 2 week pre-op.
  13. I cheated today too ... tomorrow is a new day!
  14. Great job and good luck on your journey! I am scheduled for September 4th and also doing my pre op diet.

  21. That sounds delish !

  24. I would love to do laser removal. I hope sometime this coming year to do it. For now (on my face/chin) I use this one - http://www.emjoi.com/detail/EMJ+AP-9PB It works really good, and I also use it on my arms. It works really good, but yes it hurts A LOT, no way around it. BUT, after a few minutes you sort of get numb to the pain. A draw back for some (besides the pain) is your hair has to be long enough to grab. I don't have a problem because my hair grows FAST on my chin and the ones that don't, I just tweeze. Like other posters have commented, I've told my daughters don't ever let me sit in a hospital or nursing home with a full out mustache and beard cause I will come back and haunt you ! LOL I hope by the time I am that age I will have already been able to afford the laser, I know the prices are coming down. The things we have to go through...SMH ... now I wish the hair on my HEAD would grow as heartily as the hair on my face! :D :D
