I had both my arms and breast done (no bags) - It was 2 weeks at least before I was feeling kinda normal. I had compression sleeves on for a while that felt like life support. Now I am totally fine and would do it again in a heart beat.. It changed the way my body looked sooo much I finally did not feel like I was wearing a skin suit!

I am trying to be patient!! I still have some minor swelling under my arms and in the pits. I am measuringa 37 around so I can go either way with size. If I wear the 36 the bras usually go down to a more narrow sides and smaller hooks. I am still liking the 38 because it keeps my side fat in check!
I can not wait to drop a small fortune at VS!!

I woke up in my compression sleeve and I did not have any external stitches. I can not be much help!! I would call the doctor if you have questions about his instructions! Good luck!

I had no trouble working from home almost right away. By day 4 I was wondering if the doctor really did but the band in! The worst pain I had was from the gas they pumped into my belly Guess everyone is different! Good luck!

How are you feeling? Happy Friday!

Just checking in!! How are you doing???
-
Really I am doing great. Boobs are feeling better every day. I am rubbing the scars about 3 times a day and I think it is helping with the feeling coming back. My nipples are responding to touch but not a whole lot of feeling still in them. Over all I am back to doing everything I used to do. NOW I am still trying to wrapp my head around wearing cute clothes. I still need to be sized for a bra. The Bali are great but I would like some cuter bras and tops!!

That is the same one I have!! I have it in a few colors!! I have one front close bra but don't really wear it. How you doing? recovering ok?

You are looking great!! I would swear we are sisters!! lol I had the same feeling about my boobs. I almost thought they didn't look right because I was so used to seeing them big and saggy that perky small nipples boobs seemed not right! My arms are working but I am still numb on the under side. My left arm is a little more swollen too. I loved the feel of the compression sleeves in the beginning. I almost could not image not wearing them. I am in a bra almost all the time still too. The girls kind of hurt if I just let them be free. I have nipple sensation but it is still tingly and numb but seem to be better every day. My first shower I almost passed out so I understand. I loved taking it and getting clean but I was soo tired afterwards. Get redressed and putting everything back on was horrible!! I am glad that got better too!! Hope you are doing better!!

Kirsten - Just curious what bra you ended up using? I was also sent home in a post-surgical bra with velcro straps that closed in the front. I think the surgical scrub they used on me rubbed off on the bra b/c I can't stand the way it smells. It's running through the washer for the 3rd time right now. I switched to another front close bra I already had (http://www.bareneces...=LeadingLady110) but I'm hoping to find something that gives a little better shape under clothing. My arms don't hurt, but I still have limited motion and there's no way I could wrestle into a sports or genie bra right now.
I ended up and I am still using Bali no underwire bras and I love them! I am clear after 6 weeks to wear whatever I want but for right now the Bali are great. I sleep in the cotton Bali no underwire bra and it is duper soft and comfy!

It is funny, nothing fits or looks the same now and I am not even a month out!! I am in the same $$ boat as you. I hope to have this all paid for so I can get my thighs done and Tummy Tuck. But for right now I am happy. I have never seen my boobs and arms look so good. I almost don't know what to do!!! I can not wait to for you have your surgery too!!! xoxo

I hope my boobs look as good as yours! lol. I really appreciate your updates!
I was shocked when I first saw them. I am so happy with them. I was sooooo worried because I did not get implants put in but they are doing great!

Here are some pictures!! There are still very sensitive BUT they are feeling a little better each day. I am rubbing the scares a few times a day and using coco butter right now. The area under the arms is still numb but tingly too. I am still walking like a bouncer and my left arm is a little more robotic looking still but over all I feel good. Swelling goes up and down too. My elbows are swollen still. All of the scars are closed except one tiny spot on my right boob right under the nipple but I am not worried about it. How are you??? (still can not believe how different every things looks!!)I'm so glad your healing is going well! Do you have any new pictures? Are your arms still sore or tender to the touch? Mine are, still, at 2 1/2 weeks. Not pain, exactly, but tenderness. I guess you never stop moving your arms.

I thought I would just give a recap of the past 3 weeks for me. I had am Arm Lift & breast Lift (no implants) 3 weeks ago today. Over all, if I had to do it all again I would not change a thing. The first week was a little bit or a blur, drains, pain pills and LOTS of ice and pillows!! But in the 1st week I really did feel ok considering. The 2nd week - was a lot of figuring things out. How to get dressed, shower, bathroom. Brush hair!! But I was still feeling good and off of pain meds and I was driving and started doing little chores. Now week 3 got a little tricky - I had a doctors appointment - it was great. Was cleared to stop wearing the sleeves that made me feel like a robot bouncer. I also got over confident. A few days ago I cleaned the house, did laundry then got dressed up for girls night out. Had a few drinks, did not eat right slept on my side and woke up thinking I was going to die! My arms wear burning and felt like I was stretching them because they were soooo swollen. They where sooo hyper sensitive to touch, it sucked BIG TIME!! So after a day of me drinking LOTS of Water and making good food choices I am back on track and I woke up this morning feeling really good. I am noy used to seeing my arms look sooo skinny, I am feeling a little out of portion but everyone else is telling me that I now look like I am portioned right! So that is my nut shell of the past 3 weeks!! Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I can not wait to shop for Tank Tops and super cute bras!! Happy Friday!!

The tingle in my arms is uncomfortable. I was told to message the scare area but it totally creeps me out. Hubby is away working When he comes home on Tuesday I will be requesting he starts rubbing them. I am feeling good. Send us some pictures when you get all your drains out!!
-
That is great! I had my appointment too. thinks are looking great. I am able to not wear anything on my arms and it is making them swell and tingle BUT not a happy tingle (is that swell hell?) I am happy to be able to go back to wearing "normal" clothes but the loose of feeling creeps/freaks me out a bit. I am on the message the scars and use coco butter on the scares phase. My scares look great. I little punky looking in the arm pick but getting better every day. I can move my right arm almost anyway. My left arm is WAY more stiff. I can now clip a bra behind my back. One thing that is kind of funny is my arm pit hair. I do have some left but not very much. I guess a lot of it was removed - never thought about it until I finally felt good enough to save in the shower and went to check the pits out and it had VERY little hair. Another guess I guess!

AND ..... I did not have implants and my boobs look great. I was a 38DD (I have a picture in my album) and I too look great in a full coverage bra. I am now a 38D - after swelling from Lipo done on my sides goes down I should be a 36 D. I am wearing 38 D . I am totally happy I did not do implants.

Yay!! 14 days!! I look very similar to you (just a tad bit lighter ) And I just had my 3 week post op appointment today!! YAY! Everything is great!! My scars look good. I was told that I could stop wearing the compression sleeves but I am not sure I like the way my arms feel without them. I have to stay in a soft full support bra for another couple of weeks. Then after the 6 week mark I can wear any type I like. I started to get feeling back (A little) in my arms but still a long way to go. Over all I feel good. I did take a pill for the swelling but I can not remember what it was and the PS gave it to me at my post op. The ice was a wonderful the first couple of days and so where LOTS of pillows. Keeping my arm up all night seemed to really help. I just have to let me dogs out into a yard but I was up and doing well after day 2. The drains freaked my out a bit but I had them out on days 3 (thank god!) I could totally dress myself and shower if I needed to, having the help was nice but not totally nessary. I quiet smoking a month out and I drank a little in the few weeks up to surgery. I also drank A LOT of Water right before so my skin would be nice a hydrated ( not sure it helped but it made me feel better!) Keep us updated!

I did not own a sports bra either! I could never image sticking my saggy boobs into one. They never felt good in one. I am wearing sports bra or Bali no underwire bras. That is not bothering me soo much. The heat and the sleeves are a little bit of a pain. Kathy, make sure you check back in after your appointment!!
