  1. All liquids the past week or so suck to take in. My pallet is not liking anything I drink at the moment, but I am forcing myself to get at least 60-70 ounce of water/liquid per day.

    Decision

For me that moment was just tried of struggling everyday doing simple tasks. I finally had enough, and knew I had to make drastic changes.

    Who did you tell?

    Plastics? When...

I've read that weight stable had to do with allowing the skin to retract, I doubt my skin will do some if any of that from being so stretched out for so long. Thanks for the tips!

    Weighing in

Weighing yourself daily is just setting yourself up for defeat and disappointment. Most Dr's would agree with that. Stick with a weekly or bi weekly weigh in.

  15. See I don't know if I could be that restrained. Luckily, I haven't really had to find out.

    What's your favorite water bottle?

I have a 30 oz Yeti, 30 ounce RTIC, a 20 oz RTIC, 2- 10oz RTIC, and another 25 ounce bottle on the way, but I forgot what brand it is. All are insulated, and keeps everything nice and cold for a good long while.
  17. YOU and ONLY YOU, have to be at peace with the decision to have WLS. Your family & friends can either support you on kick sand. I know that's harsh. I've tried many diets too and failed. This was done FOR ME. Not my mother, brother, or other family and friends. Luckily for me, my entire support circle has been super supportive and understanding. I wanted to reclaim the life I was losing. Most people who say surgery is the easy way out are usually uneducated about it. Maybe he should go to a support group or surgeon's visit with you to understand the process better. Good luck!

    Buyers remorse

4 weeks post-op this coming Weds, and absolutely no buyers remorse at all. Things have been going really well post-op for me. My only remorse, was not doing this sooner.

    Length of hospital stay?

Varies. For me, went in Weds AM, left Friday after lunch.
