  1. You are not alone, I know someone who had her surgery earlier in the day because the person scheduled before her left the hospital! You did what you thought was right at the time, that's all you can do, learn to love yourself, God Bless You!!!
  2. Thanks everybody, I don't think I can do squats because of my back but I have hand held weights that I planned on using while doing lunges.
  3. I was wondering if anyone wore ankle weights after surgery and did it help prevent loose skin? I also bought hand weights to start doing a workout with those, I'm five weeks post-op, I'm trying to start with weights early, thanks!
  4. It has been 29 days since my surgery and I still can't sleep comfortably on my sides.
  5. I have heard several people talk about having a lump under their incisions, I'm not sure how big they were, I'm sure you are fine!
  6. I could have strain soups, I liked cream of chicken
  7. I didn't feel well for days after my surgery, it seemed better on day six. God Bless!!!
  8. It's hard not to chew the first two weeks, I started my purée a day early, I wanted some texture.
  9. After surgery I really like water better with the flavors added! My taste hasn't changed much like I hear a lot of people talk about. I liked Premiere Protein in chocolate before surgery and I still like it after surgery.
  10. 5000 mcg are common in what people take...I "heard" it won't keep you from losing hair but will help it grow back in quicker. You may not lose hair, some don't.
  11. I have never had high blood pressure and mine has dropped a little more, I'm actually adding extra salt to try to keep mine from dropping lower, and yes it happened one week after surgery.
  12. I'm sure it's mental and habits. I'm on purée food now and I had a hard time on certain days of my liquid stage. I'm doing much better now.
  13. I didn't have one, my surgeon didn't require it
  14. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Keep the Faith, nothing is too big for God!
  15. I'm doing well, I can get in all my protein and really blessed.
  16. I had burning under an incision...after my c-section I had terrible burning for over two weeks, I think it's normal.
  17. I started Lexapro 10 years ago and I packed on the pounds and it's probably a reason I needed this surgery, but it works best for me. I had surgery on 8-12-14 and I'm losing. God Bless!!!
  18. Hi everyone, I'm checking in! I was sleeved 8/12, the first few days I wasn't so sure about my decision, I think it was 90% a mental thing. I am doing well, the drain tube is out, and I lost 12.2 lbs. at my one week appointment. I'm doing pretty good staying hydrated and getting in my protein. God Bless you all!!!
  19. Are you only getting in 30 some oz. of liquid including your protein? You really should be getting 64 oz. of water plus other things. I would say you are dehydrated but I don't know if it's causing you the other problems, God Bless!!!
  20. I got my drain tube out yesterday and I had lost 12.2 lbs.
  21. The first night I went in and had a lot of wires hooked up and I just slept...then I went back after the results came back and slept with a bunch of wires again plus a c-pap machine. Then the results will come back on what your c-pap setting will be.
  22. I want too, just tell me what to do
  23. I got 60 grams of protein six days post-op, hooray!
  24. I was sleeved August 12, most things are fine...I started having "spasms" on my left side, not fun
