girl... i know the feeling... im on my 4day of liquids i have surgery 4.1.11 and i have a long way to go before i can eat mushies.. lol so what are u drinking right now as ur liquids.... im just on shakes, jellos, popcicles... ughhh so tired of these... thanks.. keep up the good work..

well im just drinking my shakes and water and jello.. can i have broths... does anyone know... if thats okay... im just tied of shakes, jellos. water... ughhh thanks...

well my surgery was yesterday April 1, 2011 ..... i had to be there at 530am for prep... ughhhh i want to say Thanks everyone.... surgery went GREAT.... the only thing i have a problem with is that i feel that i need to burp but nothing comes out.. ughh those gasx strips arnt working for me... after being on my liquid diet for TWO weeks... ughhh i went in weighing 310 lbs and my starting weigh before the two wks was 336.... so i lost 26 lbs in two weeks... wow.... when i first started this process i was 380 lbs... lost 70lbs before surgery sooo proud of myself,,, thanks for the support.... im sooo EXCITED that the waiting period is over... now time to recover and hit the gym and build up my muscle... i cant wait.. ive had alot of support from FAMILY its unbelievable... im soo BLESSED.... im setting myself a goal.. i want to lose like 30lbs before EASTER gets here.. do ya'll think its possible... now that this surgery is over do yall have any suggestions on what i can do to keep losing weight ,,,,, and not hit a ROCK.... ~Okay so TOMORROW is the BIG DAY for me... Its SURGERY DAY.... does anyone have any suggestions on what should i wear what should i take,,, and what will happen after surgery..... what shall i expect... PLEASE HELP..... I will be at the hospital at 5:30 tomorrow morning for my surgery! I am sooo excited, but nervous! I can't wait! I'm down 18 lbs since starting the liquid diet almost 2 weeks ago, and Seeing the scale move so much is such a great feeling and im starting to feel FABULOUS....., even though I'm starving! I can't wait to eat solid food again!!! which i know it will take time...... well im sooo THANKFUL for all the support from the HUBBY and my MOTHER and my MIL.... well i have my SURGERY 4.1.11 and i had like five french fries... and a sip of coke,.... did i ruin my chances on getting banded... i was sooo stressed and out and about i didnt realize what i did until ... it was toooo late....... HELP ME,,,,

Gosh where do i begin... well i started my Liquid diet on 3.18.11 @ 336 and today i weigh 321.... WOW... im sooo EXCITED... its hard... but its going to be WELL WORK IT..... my STARTING weight was 380..... i think im doing GREAT... Im L@@king for APRIL BANDSTERS.... and some advice from recent Banders like this month (MARCH) what shall i take to hospital.. and what shall i expect after d/c,,,,, what can u eat after d/c and when ur home... i guess EVERYONE is different i read some BLOGS and everyone reacts differently... well i cant wait... i have a QUESTION... ive started my pre-op diet on 3.18.11 and they told me i can ONLY have three Protein Shakes and SF Jello.. but i read urs and u can have soup... and pudding and cottage cheese... hummm i wonder why my doc says to be just on those drinks..

OMGOSHHHHHHHHH im sooo excited i FINALLY GOT A DATE.... APRIL 1, 2011 is the BIG DAY for me.... i get BANDED :Banane10: ,,,,, im soooo STOKED and EXCITED,,,, alot of different emotions .... but over all EXCITED... and TRUST me its been a LONG JOURNEY... now the NEW me will BEGIN... i have had alot of SUPPORT from my Husband and mother and Mother In Law.... ive been BLESSED... ive lost 50lbs on my own as me DIETING ..... will keep you POSTED.. thanks.... OMGOSHHHHHHHHHHHH i cant stop thinking about it... i recvd the call yesterday and they told me i was APPROVED for my surgery im soooo STOKED and sooo EXCITED.... i cant believe how time just flew by... 6mos ago i was anxious, nervious and scared and i was like 6mos is a long time... but it was all WORTH it.. this has been a WONDERFUL journey so far.. TODAY is the START and NEW and FRESH ~ MICHELLE... ON another NOTE,,,,, my ADVOCATE told me to get on a two week liquid DIET... okay she forgot to tell me what i can drink... so you PROFESSIONALS out there,... PLEASE give me some Advise to what i can drink... this morning i bought some Atkins Advantage drinks.... is that okay... or shall i get the slim fast... PLEASE HELP.. thanks... Much luv~ MICHELLE

i know.... its ALMOST here.. im sooo STOKED and NERVIOUS and ANXIOUS... i just want to know the DATE... and get the BALL on the ROLL.. as of today 3.4.11 ive lost 50lbs.... and 125lbs to go.. lol Thanks for all ur SUPPORT guys,,,,

................. well i went to see my doctor yesterday and i was nervous and scared~ i really didnt want to get on the scale i was like ughhh the CHRISTMAS holiday break was over and i was home for almost two weeks... and alot has been going on~ ive been doing good but i was still NERVOUS... so i get on the scale and it was 341 i was like WOW...... i lost 7lbs..... i was EXCITED and soooo proud of myself... i can actually say i think im gonna do it.... im sooo proud....

well thats what were all here for... SUPPORT..

~Well i havent told anyone and i think im keeping it a secret for as long as i can... i just dont want negative feedbacks. the only people who know are the following: well my dearest friend who is having sx on fri 8.13.10 so excited ...and of course my hubby since we live together :tongue: and my mother and inlaws... but thats it.. i dont want my coworkers to know but im sure they will be asking.. and if they do maybe just maybe i will tell them.... but other than that i dont think i want to tell anyone.... :thumbup:~ so if u dont want to tell EVERYONE or ANYONE the choice is up to you... good luck:thumbup:... and have fun

* Well im sooo excited about this journey that i will begin... im sure that i'll have my ups and downs durning this process.. but i hope that i dont come up to some road blocks.... ** well im soo glad and greatful that my FRIEND is having her band done on 8.13.10... which will be FABULOUS for her and for me... LOL so i can see the process and if i have any questions she can help me and guide me.. i cant say it enough that im soo blessed to have such a wonderful friend like her we clicked and bonded really fast i've known her for a short period of time i'd say 4 1/2 months... well as of right now i weigh 375.. ouch thats the MOST that i have ever weighed and i cant believe how much i've let myself GO... im sooo dissapointed in myself i guess i was being selfish... *** I have two wonderful children and a fabulous husband and within the last four years ive gained alot of weight some people say its because u got married some say well u have two lito ones... i cant use that as an excuse anymore... i need to think about my health & my family .. i do want to be around to see them mature to adults and i want to see them get married and be around to see their family when they start a family... **** This process started about 2mos ago then we get an email at wk stating that our ins. plans are changing and our copayments and deductables are going up... BUMMER i said so i decided to wait til our new ins kicks in which will be on SEPT 1, 2010 on (my Birthday) so my 2nd appt with the Dr. will be in sept... so in my first appt i was told that i need to see a nutritionist for 6mos and be on a special diet... so im excited about it... so lets see where this ROAD will take me... My IDEAL weight that i want to be at is 175... im 5'8 a little shy from being 5'9 so im guessing me weighing 175 will be great... i know it will be at least 2012 that i will be at that weight... i hope :cool:....................
