Hi all,
Im 5 days post op and feeling great.I havent had any sickness and just taken it slowly with food. Even though im not too sure what to exactly do.I went shopping yesterday and definitely noticing the difference with myself as i could walk the whole shops with out huffing and puffing.My stomach is feeling better today and can sleep through the night.Overall im feeling great and keeping positive .It was tough yesterday though it was my 23rd birthday and the family came over with cake (no idea why).They were good just took alot of energy out of me and paying for it today.Legs are mighty sore.
How is everyone wlse doing on the post-op journey
Thanks Lacey:thumbup::biggrin:

Day two and I am doing great! I had my first semi solid food, pureed chicken breast mixed in Cream of chicken Soup. The funny thing is I looked at that 1/2 cup of soup and thought I cannot eat all of that! I did eat it all but I took 25 minutes and I feel full, not stuffed but full. I have walked several times outside and did great. I am still a bit gassy but that too is working its way out!!! My incisions are more sore today than yesterday but I expected that but Advil does the trick. So for all you future bandsters it can be a breeze.Iam also day 2 ,today im feeling same as u are...haha but the gas is definitely coming out for a laugh.Just been sipping on v8 juice and brought some soup for dinner,Good luck .

Hi,
I also have fibro and my Rheumatologist got me through to my lapband dr.Within 2 months i had a surgery date which is the 30th this month.My dr has also put in through on medicare in Australia all i had to pay was $1000.The dr's are hoping this will lessen my overall pain as im in pain basically everyday and taking every pain killer under the sun.Which is not good when i have 2 year old.
I wish u the best of luck and keep u informed if it helps me.
Good Luck:thumbup:

Four Weeks Post-op and Hungry!!
in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Posted
Hi all ,
I went and had my 1st fill.It was weird, they couldnt find my port so they were poking around for awhile,Its not painful just a weird feeling like u can feel the liquid going through.
The doc said iam going really well and 8kilos is great 4 weeks post op.I have to be on liquids for 3days after fill then mushies for 3 and then normal.I was feeling quite queasy after the fill for a few hours but after then was as normal.
I also saw the dietitian and said just keep doing what im doing but i have to add more carbs into my diet. Also said dont be scare for having bread(not white doughy),cracker,rice and Pasta.Just 1/2cup at a time.Try it and if it doesnt go down try it again.All in all feeling pretty good but not liking the liquids for 3 days Iam so damn hungry!!!
Hope everyone is doing great and iam definitly feeling more positive about everything.
OH and i also got the all clear to start exercising just limit situps if it hurts.So im going to join my gym down the road and start working my bum off (literally)
