Aw thanks for reply - you must read minds cos I'm scheduled to 'go under' Dr Chris De Bryune in Sept. It's all v scarey - even more so with having kids etc - I can't have a 'who cares' attitude as I would have done when I was on my own. ll I know is that I lost alot of weight when pregnant twice so know banding will help - i also need my self destruct bitton opertaing on so will also focus on some psycho-therapy of sorts... Do you have any regrets re band?

Hi there I am a Dr Chris De Bryune virgin and am scheduled to have an op 3/9/10. Sooo freaking out with excitement and nerves! So eveyone on here has met the Dr DBC? It's reassuring to read you've all been so happy with him as you read so much depressing stuff about suregery abroad... Can anyone tell me where are the refills are carried out ? I live near York/ North East; where is closest for me? Also does it hurt when you have it done and where is the porthole so to speak? So inspiring to read your big losses! Is it fair to say the biggest loss is after your 3rd to 4th refill? x:blink:

Hi ya - have been booked an appointment with this Surgeon for 3rd September - eeeek am both so excited and scared at same time, it doesn't seem real - I have 10 days in which to confirm with deposit. You girls who had it done in July - how did you find it ? and how are you? and out of the 4150 euros or whatever for the op, is the 250 euros additional to this? Is anyone else going in September??? I have been told he's had 0 fatalities and only 3 'going ons - involving 2 gastic bypasses and 1 sleeve - 0 LAPs. Which is best hotel to stay in there please? WOULD YOU recommend as alot of scare stories in press about going abroad but my postcode/ PCT won't pay... :wub::smile2::ohmy::smile: xxx
