hey peeps...been forever since i was on here...my journey started at 348 , 307 before surgery and im sittin at 194...let me tell u this journey has completely changed my life! went from a size 52 jeans to a 34. from a 5xl hoody to a large. i eat whatever i want!!! anything at all bread rice Pasta i can eat it all.my metabolism has sped up something like the millenium falcon. energy is through the roof. i do 850 pushups a day and it has done nothing for my loose skin, i drink a Protein Shake in the morning with 2.5 scoops of protein...loves it. since surgery i loves my chocolate dunno what happened in the operating room but before surgery i was never like thatbefore lol. for me this surgery has been pure magic...then weight fell off and i didnt have to work at it at all. not like a diet. anyone thinkin bout this surgery RUNNNNNNNNNNN and get it done.it will change ur life.i cannot describe the feelin ..its kinda like im just starting to live.t o be able to walk into old navy or any regular store and buy clothes.i used to be the guy who looked to the bottom of the jean rack to see if they had sizes big enough for me those days are long gone. i cant believe 5000 dollars changed my life...im soooo hyper all the time now its unreal.anyways peoples dont wanna ramble on too long....i could go on for quite a while. lets look alive people woot woot!!!!!!!!!! see pics attched!

I got my sleeve in November and I have only lost 46 lbs and I still can't eat. I feel like I had the surgery for nothing. I exercise, I barely can take in food and I am losing soooooooo slow. Any one have tips to jumpstart the weight loss again?

you might be starving your body... you should try to eat more so your body doesnt go into starvation mode and hang on to everything. try to do things differently than your doing now to shake it up a bit...good luck

Getting a little nervous, havent heard from people that have recentley gone into surgery with Dr. Almanza at the Jurselum Hospital in mexico- anyone out their that has survvied? Also looking for a vido of the actual surgery preformed by him, none out their?? Need more info fast please- THX

i also use a magic bullet , i add 4 cubes of ice to mine and blend it up , it tastes like a milkshake, in my opinion the ice is what makes it. make sure u get a sample before u buy a big container of ur Protein Powder. i bought a big one from costco for 30 bucks...vanilla ice cream flavored. it was disgusting and it stunk. i only buy bio x power whey complex now its 70 bucks but dam does it taste excellent and doesnt smell at all lol.

well ....stepped on the scale this morning (which i do twice a day lol) and it says im 248.....thats 100 pounds gone within 1 year!!!!!!! i cant believe it..it just doesnt seem real. anyways i went shopping yesterday and for the first time i was able to buy clothes from old navy instead of the big and tall shop. i went from wearing a 5XL and yesterday i bought a shirt that was an XL. I cannot believe i fit into an XL. anyways to anyone thinking of getting this surgery.....go for it ...its amazing. it feels so awesome to not have to "diet" to lose the weight. also just wanted to say thanks to this site and the people for all the support. ive added a few pics ...the one where im wearing a hat im weighin in at 348 and the other 2 are very recent at 248.  

you will do fine ...go in with a positive attitude. after your surgery and when u start to feel better ....u then will realize u have made an awesome decision. it is life changing believe me

Thanks I'll try that you don't think banana is to much sugar? We get 5 grams a day right?

try it without the banana...it made me feel a bit weird aswell. i mix mine with just skim milk and ice.

i was sleeved on nov 4/10 and im taking a vacation to cuba on jan 8 and its all inclusive ....im not much of a drinker but figure ill have a few here and there. has anyone else had drinks this early out? and what kind of booze would be better than others? what would you drink if u were going to have a few? thanks

Out of curiousity, how much cheaper is it in Mexico? My sleeve is set for 9/7 here in Dallas TX- my insurance excludes any bariatric surgeries, so I am paying out of my pocket.
