I was sleeved April 4th also and going through the exact same thing. the stomach churning. Cant wait till it stops! G -
I am home and doing great no complications. I was sleeved Moday April 4th. Stayed four days in the hospital. Make sure you get up and walk when you can helps pass that evil gas out of you! The doctor only has me on Crystal light and boost. Nothing else. Just trying to get it all in G

I talked to the Dr and everything is fine I am really at the end of it but still a little cough it was scarying me. I have come this far and trying to prep mentally that would have thrown me for a loop! Thanks! G -

Same here my date is April 4th and came down with a Cough and sore throut. Don't know what medicines I can take this close to surgery. G -

I am going through many emotions also, my date is April 4th! After going as long as I did and taking the 6 months of classes I know I am ready. I couldn't have been prepared had I not went to classes. It really got me in the mindset to do this and make the changes to my life. Hang in there it is something that everyone goes through... I am so excited and nervous all at once. I got my date today with the DR. I wasn't informed of any pre op diet wonder if that comes later but it is about 2 weeks out. Should I be ask or be starting one? I thought about it after I left..... Thanks to all here for your support I really needed it G

I got the call today and I go in Monday 8:30 am to set the surgery date. I am nervous and excited and scared and happy there are so many emotions running through me right now.. I am sure you all went through it.. How did you calm down..... and take it all in....................... HELP! GUIT

That could be it I do have edema of the leg. My legs swell up bad sometimes. Now it makes more sense.... Thanks G -
My Doctor has asked for a presurgery Consult from Cardio (March 2nd)..... What does this envolve? Has anyone had one before I understand some people don't have them?

I am now waiting for an appointment date for surgery. I passed the eval and did my 6 months with the nutrician class and making great changes in the way I eat and think about food.. I am going through so many emotions. Excitement for the new life ahead and challenges I will face for the better.... scared have only had one minor surgery in my life. Talked with family about everything... I take it this is normal.... Guit

I guess it isn't so much as what was said but I was on a plane going on a business trip and the stewardess came over and didn't even try and whisper but she said it would be necessary for me to purchase another seat would I please give her a credit card.. She went charged it and came back and had me sign it. The whole plane watched I was devistated.. They could have been more tactful. I have never flown them again.
