Puppey - Why not take the time off work if you have it!! I had it and took off 2 weeks. Had the time on the books!!! Glad your doing good, go to my 1st doctor appointment today 10:00 am. Can't drink much had a shake for Breakfast, not sure if I can even down one for lunch. Will try doing ok at dinner having a Potato/Garlic cream Soup mmm good!! Keep us all posted!!!

OK Rockstar I didn't feel that great glad your doing good. Have you had pain in your shoulders? Dry mouth? etc. Was banded last Thursday and feeling very good today Monday!! Keep all of us posted!!

OK me too on the 7th feeling good! Cannot eat/drink much for now!! The Soup sounds great puppybandit I'll havae to try it. I was in such pain in my shoulders but that has finally moved on. Keep us all updated I have doctor's appointment Thursday don't know anything about cc have to ask the doctor. October people keep us updated on your progress...... Hugs!!

How is it going? I was banded last Thursday and today Monday feeling so much better no so much pain and gas. Keep me posted on how your doing each day is better. Sore a little on the stomach stiches......

Just banded Oct 7th came home and rested most of the day. Pain in my shoulders. Took the pain med and slept good but up 3-4 times to go to the bathroom. Today my second day feeling much better but my stomach is hurting (stitches) Sore! I took a vit chewable made me sick and want to vomit. I have been drinking lots of Water and have FF chicken broth, Jello but that is about it. Tomorrow going to try a Protein Shake. Any suggestions please post on this site or email me. Thanks I need help not feeling great but better than yesterday.

Thank you! Looking forward to updating all of you. Went for pre opt today took 4 1/2 hrs. Seminar and lots of information passed onto to the group having surgery. Then off to the hospital for admitting. Now tomorrow is another big step!!!

Great that your journey is starting. Read your dates and mine dates are very close starting and now surgery on Thursday. Walk and Sip is what they tell me! Anxious to here back from you!!!

Me Too! Next Thursday is my day but all of you have helped and supported me daily. I thank you for that!! Don't forget the pillow....

I'm on edge about the surgery I'm having on October 7th.... Crazy is this for me!! I know it is in my heart and want to get it over with. So band together and support each other we know it is for us! What else can we do but be their for each other!!!

Keep only postive and supportive people close to you. I'm not tell people at work all negative or thinking it is an easy way out. Keep in touch!! Taking Vacation days from work and good eating habits!!!

Best of Luck in your up coming surgery. I'm going to be banded on October 7th meeee tooo scared but know this is the right thing to do. My biggest problem is were having company from Canada come to town Las Vegas to see us and want to treat us to dinner etc. on the 9th. I just told them I'm having minor surgery and leaving it at that. Have you stocked up on items before the surgery? I have been out and purchased Soups, Jello, puddings, apple sause etc. Any suggestions from anyone out there on other items I will need please let me know asap!!! Hi I'm October 7 and also looking for support and a buddy. I'm waiting for pre op on the 6th and surgery on the 7th. Lets keep intouch and see how all of us October buddies are doing. Looking forward to surgery but also a little scared!! The group is great with ideas and support!!! Thanks Again!!!

I'm October 7th looking forward to getting this over with have had too much time thinking about it but have been encouraged by all of you out there. Next the liquid diet even if the doctor has not put me on it I want to do it 5-7 days before so please let me know what I need to have in the kitchen!!! Let's all keep intouch!!! October bander's!!

I'm October 7th :smile: Got work scheduled and now I'm scared oh well!! I'm on my way and not looking back have been planning this since the end on January, 6 month diet plan, sleep testing, blood work, chest x-ray, pych testing and talks, met with the doctor, approval, all sorts of hoops but the time has given me a clear better understanding of what I want. Wish me luck and much love and luck to all of the October bandered!!!

I just got approved today call my UHC nurse and she gave me the news!!! Now I'm scared!!! Happy but scared!!!
