Hopeinapril--congrats on the new Job! Sometimes stress at work carries over to other areas in your life, and makes everything seem harder! I hope things fall into place for you! I know what you mean about sizes! It drives me crazy,too!

Tess--You are not alone. I got caught with my fingers in the donut box, too! I went to a parent meeting friday morning at my DD's school, and they had donuts and coffee for the parents. I took one, mostly out of habit, and was hoping that it would not go down very well. WRONG, over the 30 min meeting I ate the entire thing! Bad Girl!!! Maybe I should call about another fill. The scale has not been moving very well, and I am able to eat way more than I should. On the other hand, I am not making the best food choices...hmmm, maybe I will give it another week.

Sorry guys! We took the kids to the pumpkin patch this morning and I had an allergic rxn to it all! I ended up taking 4 benedryl in 3 hous, and passed out at 1 in the afternoon! We have a birthday party to go to tomorrow at 2pm, so I won't be able to make the fashion show...Good luck Heather! (I think you said this was the show you were going to be in) Work your stuff, girlie!

Rhonda--Isn't it funny how young girls are so excited to get "into" a bra...but us women can't to get out of one!!!

Rhonda--I was very lucky to find a vanity outlet store just around the corner from work. I bought 2 40D and 2 38D's and paid between $4 and $8 for each! I was really excited. They had a TON of $15 bras that looked much more comfortable, but I thought until I am done losing I would stay with the cheepies! WCMom--I can't imagine how you must feel. I know how much time/money/fighting I did to have this surgery, and to feel like you would want it out must be terrible! It is great to see how you are making positve changes despite the band. You are one tough chick! Please don't feel like you have to filter yourself on here...we all need to hear every side of life with the band...the good, the bad and the ugly!!! Robin--I am sure your haircut is cute! There are sooo many short styles out there just waiting for the right woman! Sound like your hubby better watch his step! LOL

Hey guys! Kinda quiet around here...guess that means we are all keeping active and busy! I wanted to share that I had a NSV today. I was looking in my closet trying to find a pair of size 20 jeans to wear today, but I didn't have any. I was bummed about not having anything to wear--again! I took a pair of 17/18 jeans just to see how tight they were, and they FIT!!! I couldn't believe it! I have still been wearing the size 24 shorts that Juli gave me before Disney. I knew they were too big now, but I didn't want to spend money on anything new...I just about fell over when these jeans fit! Hope everyone is doing well! I miss ya and I am going to try to make it this weekend!

I think a Christmas goal would be Great! I am going to be aggressive and shoot for 219...that would be 26 lbs! Can I do that with Halloween, Thanksgiving, three family birthday parties and Christmas goodies??? Only one way to find out!!!

Rhonda--It is so important for all of us to hear the pro's and con's of ALL the options so we can make an informed decision! Sometimes I think that physicians are afraid to tust us (100+ lbs over weight) to be willing to put the extra effort into making the band work, but it really is NOT their call! I would take all of the info you were given, give it time to process, pray and make the right decision for you. I would also attend another program's free info session (even if they are not part of your insurance plan) and hear what their doctors have to say. Knowledge is power! Trust what decision you make...only you know what is right for YOU! Good luck

Hey guys! Sounds like everyone is still trying to walk that fine line of restriction. I think that it is a game we will all have to play for many months during this journey. We are all fighting the flu here, so it has been a really trying week! I called the doctor Monday night after TERRIBLE dry heves for 5 hours, but never got a call back. I called again about 3 hours later and they said they would page him again. I was really worried about slipping my band! About 8:30 that morning I got a call from the office nurse and she said the doctor tried to call but he has a blocked number and my phone would not allow a call from his home or cell phone?!?!? Anyways, buy this point I was only having diarrhea, so they said to stay on liquids and call back it I started to vomit again. I am feeling better today. I actually feel like trying to eat. I pray that the band is ok, and that no major damage was done. I was wondering if any of you have had guidelines from your doctor about the flu and how long to wait before going to the ER for a unfill.

Annie--I think you look amazing with the new do'! Not everyone can pull of such short hair, but you do it VERY well! I love the glasses, too! As for the girls hitting on you...I would just take it as a compliment! It is a shame that we live in 2008 and words like "dyke" are still being thrown around at strangers! Hold your head high, girl...You look amazing! Kathy--What a great visual! Way to go!! I have been luggin around my 5yr old DD the past week (she is sick) and she is about 58lbs...it makes me stop and think what last year was like for me! Hope everyone is doing a better job than me lately. The candybar sales for my DD dance is killing me. I have got to get them out of my House!!!

Hey Ladies! Well, I finally have TV, internet, and phone...Yah! It is amazing how easy it is to eat anything (and everything) without your internet support, food journal or exercise journal! I agree with Tess about taking more time for ourselves! I know with school starting, things have been crazy at my house! I am praying that in the next few weeks things will settle down and I can find time to get to the gym 4 days a week! I am looking forward to fall, and being able to walk outside (without the heat and humid air) WestCoastMom--It's better to laugh or to giggle, than to eat more and jiggle. I LOVE IT!!!
