You are too sweet! Thank you for checking the news -- and thank goodness it was good!!! Love having folks like you to share this journey with. How are you doing?

Hello friend! How are you doing? Thanks for your note. I joined the gym so I've been working out a few times a week. Have been on the computer less and less. But, it's so good to log in and see how folks are doing. I've been within 1 # of getting into Onederland for about 2 weeks now. I'm 42# down since surgery. What's up with you?

You are doing great! I'm betting you are feeling lighter and feeling great about yourself. It's meant the world to me and I'm loving every minute of it. I have been swimming at night but now that the weather is turning colder and the pool is going to close I'm going to have to find some other exercise. Walking is not enough for me - I want to do more. Wow - you are turning into a gym rat (I mean that as a compliment!). Isn't it time for a new picture? I've got to get one on here and would love to see one from you too.

No fill yet? How are you doing? Feeling any hunger? How much are you losing? THey were really happy I lost 8# last month. I've had 2 fills. The first one made me not hungry 'all the time'. The 2nd one allowed me to finish eating at 4-5 oz without being super hungry. I still don't have restriction so I'm guessing I'll get another one in a couple of weeks. The first two were 'significant' they said, so perhaps this one will be tiny. I feel I'm close to the green zone. How are you feeling?? How much weight are you down? I started 242# on 6/5 (pre-op) and am down to 204# this week. I can't wait to knock off the last 5# and get to ONEderland!

I'm happy since the fill. It's so nice to not have uncontrolled hunger! I had the same challenge as you when I started 3x per day. The protein was tough to get. Salmon and shrimp worked great for me. Brlynike has a great recipe on one of her blogs. It's very healthy and tasted great. Seafood is full of protein. Good luck! I'm going on vacation and wish you the best as you return to work on Monday. Enjoy the weekend gal!

Ah patience - not my strong suit, but I promise to try. This has been much easier than what I had imagined it would be. Thanks for the words of encouragement with the food. Haven't experienced first stuck yet, but I hear it happens to us all, so thanks for the advice. Have a great week! Love your picture!

Rose - I know what you mean about wanting to get stamina back before work. Especially if you are going to work 4 10's. Mine took a few weeks to come back - came back slowly but as long as you don't over-do it, seems to gain a little more each day. Good luck getting ready to return to work. Isn't it great to be active again? Sounds like you are doing fantastic. Keep it up!!

Thank you. I am starting to notice it - like yesterday when I went shopping and bought 16's for the first time in forever. I was up into the 20s before this started. I also can tell in my face when I put on my makeup. Unfortunately, I always see more of a difference in the mirror than I do in pictures. What I can tell is how much more I am smiling. Are you going to take some pics so we can see your differences too? With all the work you are doing at the gym, I know you are going to do great!

Thanks for your note! It's so nice to have each other to keep us motivated and give us encouragement. I really appreciate you taking the time to do that, and if I can ever help in any way, I'm here. Have a great Sunday!
