  1. it's been 11 months since my surgery. I'm still doing good, but the mind games are awful! I have to get back to going to group. I know it makes a huge difference. I haven't been to group for about 2 months.

  2. we are still watching the band rubbing. they will move my port if I choose to.

    If you were just banded the first part of July, it took about 10 weeks for my port area to heal and not be such a bother.

    I am 7 months post op and my port is located to high. Since I've lost so much weight it's rubbing against my rib when I sit in a certain position.

  4. Went today for my monthly checkup and I am down 10 pounds!! YEAH!! I weighed in at 188!! whoo hoo!! I celebrated by going to get a size 14 jeans! LOL

  6. I didn't lose anything for almost 2 weeks and went in to see the nutritionist. She looked at my food diary and said that what I am eating is good. They gave me another small fill. 1/2 cc. I could tell the difference right away.

    I am on my 10th day post fill and I am down 6 pounds. I am at 200 now and hope to be in the 190 by next weekend.

  8. Went in for my first fill today. It wasn't bad, but was more than I expected it to be. The needle felt like more than a small poke! It was more like a big jab! It was interesting when she took it out and I felt the pop.

  9. I am 10 days post op and so far so good. I am feeling good, incisions are almost completely healed although I still have my skin glue and the steri strips haven't even moved yet.

    I can finally turn over in my sleep without any pain which is great since I am a stomach sleeper.

    I am feeling restriction to the point that I have a hard time getting in all the protein I'm suppostd...

  10. I have heard from my nurse educator that the band works best when it's wide open. You are a testament to that....thanks for sharing. I will be banded on 12/30/10

  11. Started my preop diet today. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Had my preop with Dr Beane today and now just waiting on the approval from BCN. Woot Woot!!

  12. ...almost at the end of my 6 month diet program that the insurance company requires. I can't believe the time went SO fast. I've been attending group sessions with other bandsters on Thursday nights and the support and encouragement that I get from them is incredible. Twenty pounds down and I'm ready to rock!
